# Eine Kernschmelze von Bigband-Sound mit House und Techno-Musik.

Die **Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung** bringt es so auf den Punkt: „Auf ihren Konzerten in Europa, Amerika, Asien und Afrika bringen sie mit Klanggewalt, Groove und enormer Bühnenpräsenz Jazzfans und Tanzwütige zusammen, wie wohl aktuell kein vergleichbares Ensemble – Groove mit Köpfchen, Elektro mit Gebläse, Jazz im Rausch.“ Das Resultat: 120 Konzerte pro Jahr – so viele, wie keine andere Big Band auf der Welt.

Und wo begann der ganze Zauber? Im **Harry Klein**, einem der angesagtesten **Elektro-Clubs** in ganz Europa. 2015 gastierte die Jazzrausch Bigband im Harry und das Publikum flippte förmlich aus. Einen solchen Sound hatte es zuvor auf keiner Techno-Bühne gegeben. Für die Jazzrausch Bigband das Trittbrett auf die ganz großen Bühnen.

And where did all the magic begin? At **Harry Klein**, one of the hottest electro clubs across Europe. In 2015, the Jazzrausch Bigband made a guest appearance at the Harry, and the audience literally freaked out. There had never been such a sound on a techno stage before. For the Jazzrausch Bigband, this was the stepping stone to the giant stages.

An Jazzrausch ist klarer denn je zu erkennen, wie der Jazz sich stetig in einem riesigen Pott neuer Ideen verändert, der ständig am Kochen ist. Und dennoch ist Jazzrausch ein Phänomen. Egal, welche Schublade man auch öffnet – sie passen nicht auf Anhieb hinein.
Es mag daran liegen, dass die Band selbst von sich sagt, am Einreißen von Grenzen den größten Spaß zu haben.

Jazzrausch shows more clearly than ever how jazz is constantly changing in a huge pot of new ideas that is constantly boiling. And yet Jazzrausch are a phenomenon. No matter which pigeonhole you open, they don't fit in right away.
This may be due to the fact that the band itself says it has the most fun tearing down barriers.

Ich muss eingestehen, auch bei jedem Mal, an dem ich fündig werde auf dem weiten Feld des Jazz und ich dann auch noch Menschen zum Reinhören verleiten kann, die normalerweise um die Individualisten an den Instrumenten einen weiten Bogen beschreiten, innerliche Freudentänze zu vollführen.
Dazu dekoriert mit einem solchen Kommentar – dann erst recht! 😊
