[17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Good News Translation 1 Samuel 16:23 From then on, whenever the evil spirit sent by God came on Saul, David would get his harp and play it. The evil spirit would leave, and Saul would feel better and be all right again. Good News Translation Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; you will save me from trouble. I sing aloud of your salvation, because you protect me. God does not consume food prepared by humans. God does not eat the money we bring him, but he delights in the praise we give him from our hearts. As Christians, we are required to worship God in our daily lives and to sing praises to him constantly. We were not allowed to sing any songs, but we were required to chant praises to our Lord Jesus Christ. Good News Translation Hebrews 13:15-16 Let us, then, always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus, which is the offering presented by lips that confess him as Lord. Do not forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God. Believers must learn how to act in a good manner. We must learn to love those around us in order to appreciate God's work in our lives. So, how can we love those around us as Christians? We exhibit love by caring about people's problems, figuring out how to help them when they're in need, and appreciating God with them when they're happy.
