Hello Worldmappin fam! 💖 It's me again @wanderelle! ☺️ I hope you enjoyed hearing about our peaceful morning at The Mansion in [Part 2](https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@wanderelle/baguio-bliss-discovering-the-mansion) of our Baguio trip. For our next adventure, we went to one of Baguio's most iconic and popular spots: the **Mines View Park**! It's a place everyone talks about when you mention Baguio, and we couldn't wait to see it again after so many years.

The walk to Mines View Park was calm and lovely. As we got closer, you could feel the lively energy building up since there are many tourists going there. The air still felt wonderfully cool even if the weather was sunny. When we arrived at the park, the very first thing that really caught my attention was this absolutely picture-worthy stunning landmark where "Baguio City's Mines View Park" is beautifully written. It’s perfectly designed with vibrant plants and colorful flowers around it, making it super inviting. We just had to stop right there for some great photos because the whole setup was too pretty to pass up!

Then, you’ll pass by this wooden gate at the entrance, which is quite similar to iconic wooden gate arches you’ll find in Japan.

Once inside, we quickly made our way to the main attraction: the famous overlooking view of the mountains and some parts of Baguio. It was truly breathtaking! Standing there, you just feel amazed by the green mountains stretching out into the distance, layer upon layer, seemingly endless. We could spot bits of the city nestled comfortably among the hills, and the valleys below seemed so calm. The fresh wind felt great against our faces. It’s one of those views that makes you appreciate nature's beauty.

The park also had traditional wooden barricades which added to the local feel.

But the absolute real highlight for me and my sister was trying on the traditional Ifugao attire! You can rent these colorful woven outfits right there, and it’s such a fun way to experience a bit of the local culture. We had a blast picking out our pieces and laughing as we put them on. We took tons of photos of me and my sister wearing them, posing against the scenic backdrop. It's definitely an experience you shouldn't miss when you're in Baguio! It makes for some really joyful and picture-perfect souvenirs.

We also got to interact with a cute white horse that was also dressed up in its own adorable pink Ifugao attire. It was so sweet, and I loved getting a picture of it.

We browsed through the souvenir shops, which were full of unique Baguio crafts and treats. I remember one shop filled with bright, cheerful sunflowers, making the whole area feel even more vibrant. This is also the area where we rented our beautiful Ifugao attire.

As we explored into the park, past the main viewing deck, we also checked out the garden inside. It was a lovely, peaceful area, filled with so many different beautiful plants and colorful flowers. You could see varieties that thrive in Baguio's cool climate, all arranged so neatly. Around the area, there were even many plants and flowers for sale, beautifully displayed.

We truly enjoyed every moment at Mines View Park, from taking in the breathtaking views and exploring the charming garden to having so much fun wearing the traditional attire and meeting the friendly horse. It's clear why it's a must-do stop for anyone visiting Baguio. It offers a mix of natural beauty, cultural experience, and pure family fun. We left feeling happy and refreshed, ready for more Baguio adventures.
