**Hello my Steemit friends! I wanted to stop by to provide an update. Many of you know me by my poetry on Steemit. If you're not familiar with my poetry, here's a recently  example: [The Touch](https://steemit.com/poetry/@wandrnrose7/the-touch-poetry)**

 **These past few days have been challenging. My friends in the Minnow Support Project (PALS)  on the Discord chat know that I write the majority of my posts using my MotoX Pure Edition phone.  I currently do not have a working desktop or laptop, although I do possess both, each of them have issues preventing me from using them. The desktop is very old, it may be salvageable, and I am also looking into this option.**

**Two days ago I was alarmed to discover that I'm no longer able to upload photos using my phone. The only thing that I can deduce is that there has been a software update taking up more space on the phone's already limited memory. I have spent hours deleting and cleaning my phone to the best of my ability. I have an SD card on the phone with an abundance of space, but apparently it doesn't allow me to move my apps on to the card and still retain functionality of those apps. Nonetheless, I have moved what I can, completely clearing the album by uploading the photos to the cloud and deleted more apps than I wanted to for the sole purpose of being able to continue creating posts with graphics.**

**I've studied numerous documents on how to create a direct link from places like Pixabay, and Postimage, but they do not allow a direct link, so I am still without graphics. This post is being written on my Asus Android tablet. My hope is that I will be able to move photos through email to my tablet.**

 **When I booted up the tablet, it was littered with applications that my grandchildren have downloaded through the years. The tablet was extremely slow and is approximately 4 years old, I am fortunate to have won a sizable gift card from my place of employment during that time. I used part of that gift card from Amazon to purchase this tablet for a nominal fee of $150.**  

>My biggest concern was being able to move my Steemit account onto the tablet, and I'm happy to say that I was successful.**

**If it becomes necessary for me to reformat my phone, or completely replace it, at least I still have access to my Steemit account.  I'm far from a technical genius, but I've managed through many years to hold my own when it comes to my basic electronics.**

i hope your phone will fine soon and you can easily work all but no problem with tablet but its slow so hope you get fast gadgets so you can work properly here and my best wishes always with you..

Thank you so much. I've been struggling with other technical issues with this phone but nothing that has prevented me from blogging or taking images and using them. The tablet is not as fast as I would like it to be and it is definitely showing its age. *The struggle is real!*

I am using a mobile phone all through out in blogging and interacting here in steemit. I dont have much issue about uploading images as I'm using a markdown style in creating a post wherein you can easily upload photos. I have also experienced uploading photos in my blog using postimage.org direct link and it works.

It was sooo painful i took the  plunge today and upgraded to a note 8! They even gave me $300 on my phone trade. My payment is $22 a month for 30 months, but I can pay it off earlier.

I had that same problem that applications can't be moved to my sd card, unable to use other applications that I'd like to install. Compatibility is another issue that can ruin your day. Now my smartphone got busted and I'm using an old cellphone with Java in it that I can only use FB and so very slow!

I know the feeling. My imac is 8 years old. I bought it new after not having a computer for a year. My mac book is 7years old. It's a hand-me-down from my adult daughter.
The imac is slower than molasses. The macbook is slow as molasses.
I don't like phones. Typing the shortest text leaves me frustrated. I don't know what I would do if both my computers bite the dust. I can't use a phone to type.
Any way, that's my sob story, and I upvoted yours.

Thank you for the kind comment. I did finally  took the plunge and bought a new phone today.  I bought the Samsung Note 8, with insurance. Being without a working phone is one of the most frustrating things I've experienced lately.  Payments are low at $22 a month.

the Sony Note * you will find great I was tempted to get one but ended up sticking with Apple and got the new 8 Plus

Great to see a current selfie, of that gorgeous countenance :D

I have an almost new ASUS phone, bought by my son brand new, used for 2 weeks until he had to switch providers and the phone was not compatible. So he sold it to me pretty cheap, so... It is yours, Rose, all I need is an address :D   DM me on discord if you are interested.

PS: I believe it has a lot of memory, Sonny-Boy does not do anything  _"Half-A$$ed"_     ...lol
I have not used the phone at all.

That is a very sweet and before I saw  this comment I went to AT&T store.  I ended  purchasing a new Samsung  Note 8 on the Next program. It will run me $22 a month. I consider it an investment for my work here and the camera is amazing. I got $300 cedit off my phone even in its state since the value of it was over $20.  Thank you for always looking out for me!
