This is cause for serious reflection for me as I write this on my six year old $30 on the used market Netbook. I think I will keep it running a little longer before replacing it. I heard half the energy a device uses goes into creating it....just like a car. Think twice before upgrading! This is the world's largest edump in Ghana.

yeah but with a more powerful and efficient laptop you may be more productive and it may be holistically valuable. 

One interesting part about those e-dump is that I guess most products are taxed to be recycled...

then the pollution goes into the water, enter the food chain and contaminate the baby of chelsea...
