Many people have reached out and ask if the situation is as bad as it sounds in the news. A few don't even believe it's actually a real thing. Well, from the perspective of someone who has heard that crazy lightings that one night in Boulder Creek, California. The lightings that have started all this! I can tell you that it's pretty real.

A month ago, after the night that we have heard the lightnings. We woke up because of it and the next morning seems like we're not the only ones. From that day, the electricity was out for a day. Then we started to smell some smoke for a few days from all ***the forest fire*** nearby before we got told to evacuate. 

We evacuated where we can go. Some go to friends' houses and some to family's. My bf and I moved up north to another property. Mostly camping in a trailer up in Northern California. It was fine for a few weeks and just last weeks, we started to see some smoke. Like, dejavu... 

We have been just in the trailer most of the time watching movies, taking online courses and you know, blogging here and there :) Quite a lot of time inside like COVID-19 all over again. That's why I have been having so much time to cook and share the recipe with you all. Anyways, that's not the point #lol The point is, been doing this for a week or so repeatedly and the smoke doesn't seem to get any better. 

Some days are worse than the others. Have you ever experienced those days when it's so yellow or orange outside? Super smoky that the smoke cover all the area and the sun can't make it way through. Seems like it's already evening but it's actually just midday. 

Then a few days ago, my boyfriend was like, 'There's so much ash falling off the sky'. I didn't think it was going to be so bad but dang, just after a few hours of him saying that, the property ground cover with all the ash and some are so big of pieces still. It's crazy and yes, it's nasty. A cute kid who lives close by, just left with his mom 2 days ago because they found him coughed up tar after school...

Yesterday was probably a confirm that 'hey, it's coming for sure'. A police stopped by and told us to evacuate already. Our stuff is packed and here we go again, our Our 2nd evacuation in one month!

Sorry, this is more like a semi-rant, semi-update post. I have been having enough of this bs and so wanting it to be over already. You all stay safe and enjoy the fresh air wherever you are to the fullest <3
