A bit of diversity a good thing?

When I first decided that silver was my way to future proof my storage of wealth, little did I know back then that there would be so many buying options out there. My original plan was to stack cheap 1oz coins/billions and maximise my weight. Very shortly after,  I realised that this plan was never going to work.

Not only did I not stick to cheap bullion rounds and lower premium coins I moved to collecting most things silver. So for your consideration and advice I give you -

My 1996, sterling silver, 25th anniversary of decimalisation collector set.

This set has a total of 48.43g of 0.925 sterling silver. It was a spontaneous purchase as I felt the price was too good to miss out on. The seller had advised that there was some tarnishing on to 50p coin, but that didn't put me off, it actually made it cheaper(I think this adds to the appearance and character).

So anyway back to the blog title "A bit of diversity a good thing?"; so what are my fellow stacker opinions on diversifying your stack to include items such as this? Should I stick to .999 and forget about object like this?

A bit of diversity IS a good thing! Diversity is GOOD!  Even with a high premium, that's fine. . . IF YOU appreciate the coins, then it is likely that OTHERS also appreciate the coins, and the value of the coins will appreciate in VALUE.

Thanks for the input. I really like the set and didn't buy it to "flip" it, but if silver sky rockets It would be gone in a flash. Lol
