<center>**TRAINS, PLANES AND...... UMMMMM!!! WALKING THE DOG??**</center>

The health kick is still going strong, and I now take every opportunity I get to get those extra steps in throughout the day.

Incase you didn't know, my Monday to Friday job involves sitting down at a microscope, treating cervical cancers and now covid-19 testing. These jobs may sound glamorous (they are NOT), but truth be told, I spend 80%/90% of my day sat on my arse and getting very little exercise thought the day.

Pre-Covid I enjoyed the occasional jog, but since "lockdown" and restrictions on place, I've been unable to keep at it and my weigh through these past few months has rocketed....

As lockdown rules have been eased, I'm able to once again get out jogging, but with my luck, I've gone and got a grade one calf muscle tare, which has put my out of action for 2 weeks.

This doesn't stop me walking with 1/2pint, so when the weather is dry enough, we grab our water bottles and go for long walk after work. Today I took him for a rather long walk which took us to a railway bridge crossing..... Big mistake on my behalf, 1hr later and several passing trains, we were still there waving at the drain drivers and waiting for our next train.

I managed to bribe him with some chocolate and tge promise of playing in the garden. Whilst there a low flying helicopter made a few passes, and we got a wave from the pilot and copilot.

Not neglecting our little Jack Russell, after dinner, I took her for a quick walk.

The dog is also enjoying my health kick, she's never been walked so much.
