My Actifit Report Card: August 5 2020

OK, I don't normally wear the top button of my t-shirt done up, but after shifting a few pounds, I've definitely lost a few inches of my neck, so why not!!

While the weather held out, I thought I'd take an extended lunch break and get a few miles under my belt. It wasn't anything strenuous today, just a casual stroll through the countryside to get me away from work to clear my head and get my #actifit steps in.

It was a solid 65 mins of walking (not including the shameless selfies) and I always tried to keep my heart rate up to maximise my time.

Then without any warning the heavens opened and the rains began..... There wasn't much I could do, I was still a good 1 mile from work, so it was just a case of embracing the unexpected shower and getting back as quick as possible.

I took shelter under the over hanging tree branches when the rain got too heavy, and I arrived back in work looking like a drowned rat.
