Good question.... and this is the problem!! Gold currently has more intrinsic value than silver.  I believe silver will increase more in value compared to gold over the next few years.

Silverhas always been used because of its portability and lower value for same size coins, but if were talking gold flakes, then it is easier to pay for smaller items with flakes and gold dust, rather than 1/2 or 1oz gold coins... 

Id take gold flakes please.....
