Its that time of year again, when an old friend, and probably the UKs finest independent silver pourer contacts you and says - "your @backyardbullion channel bar is ready"....

Backyardbullion's been pouring silver for as long as ive been stacking. Weve crossed paths several times over the years and i have nothi g but praise and great words about his work. So when i was offered the chance, nearly 5yrs ago, to get the exclusive chance of picki g up one of his finest 1oz bars, i jumped at the chance. Im surenivengonenover this before, in fact my guess would be this time last year, when i bought the 2021 bar, but i had the opportunity to pick an early number, i think 3,4,5.... etc qere still available at rhe time. So i clearly was in early doors! But i chose number 11, simply because thats my birth date in January.  Thats a lot of 1' (11/01/..).

With just 100 1oz bars made in 2022, and only 25 made in 2018 on their first release, id be a fool not to continue collecting these amazing little silver art bars.

Theyre not cheap either.... Paying almost exactly double the spot price (value of silver in them), silver stacking can be an expensive hobby, but i truly believe that while silver will rocket in price in the future, silver art will and should obviously increase exponentially more as spot increases.

Whist people in the know, ie my fellow stackers will appreciate and understand how an ounce of silver xan cost more than "spot", allow me to explain to those unsure as to why id pay double what the silver is worth for a bar.

What makes these bars so fantastic, and all of BYBs work to be honest, is that he send every single one of his poured art bars to the [EDINBURGH ASSAY OFFICE](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edinburgh_Assay_Office) to be thoroughly tested and stamped for quality and purity. 

+ **BYB** - This is his very own designated stamp identifier. No other silver pourer can or should be using this identifier. In many hundreds of years to come, collectors will be able to look his mark up and identify him.
+ **999** - This is the purity of the silver, as tested by the Assey office. 999 indicates 99.9% purity: as close to pure silver as possibly testable. 
+ 🏰 - Is the unique identifier to the Edinburgh Assey office. In the UK we have 4 assey offices. Ill let you in to a secret: he sends his work to Edinburgh to be checked because he think the castle looks "cool" (his words not mine)
+ **X** - Indicates the year of manufacturing. Many different font styles have been used through the centuries, and this bold X is used for the year 2022.

Given the information on the bar, at any point in the future, collectors will be able to attribute the bar and ita quality back to @Backyardbullion and the year 2022.
