The last of my wild beast coin collection #10

So not only have I made it to double digits as far as blogging goes, this is now my 6th night straight. Yay go me!!

For tonight's blog I won't keep you long at all. For your approval I submit 3 of my wild beast collection.

This coin is a continuation of the Silver Taku series from the New Zealand Mint that has grown tremendously popular in its brief existence. The coin combines the appeal of 1 oz of pure Silver with an elegant design of a hawksbill turtle. A semi-small mintage of 200,000 means its a nice collectors coin that holds its value.

A very popular coin with a kick-ass design on front and reverse. The 2015 Somalian elephant is a stunning coin. Minted at the Baverian state mint in Germany in. 999 fine Silver, this 1oz coin is a favourite of mine.

Last of my wild beast and a great one to finish is my 2015 Congo silverback gorilla. Once again a coin with as nice a reverse as the face(sometime old Elizabeth's just isn't enough for a coins reverse), well I think so. Although for the Republic of Congo it was actually released by the scottsdale mint. This was the first in a series of coins with a low mintage of only 50,000.

I collect the elephants but i can't afford to go back too far as the prices for the older ones have rocketed. I think i have 5 or 6 different years. But they are very nice coins
