Good afternoon Hivers, how are you? After a long time of thinking and practicing in some sketches and drawings, I finally decided to bring this sketch that I made of Pikachu, honestly I know that it is something basic and simple, but I started drawing a short time ago and I still make my sketches with geometric figures, I still don't have the perception of many to draw with details a sketch at first sight.
Pokémon was undoubtedly one of my favorite cartoon series, so drawing some characters from this series brings back good memories, besides pikachu I've been practicing on other pokemons and characters.
> Buenas tardes compañeros Hivers, como están? Después de mucho tiempo de pensarlo y practicar en algunos bocetos y dibujos, por fin me he decidí a traer este boceto que hice de Pikachu, sinceramente se que es algo básico y sencillo, pero comencé a dibujar hace poco tiempo y todavía hago mis bocetos con figuras geométricas, aun no tengo la percepción de muchos para dibujar con detalles un boceto a simple vista.
Pokémon sin duda alguna fue una de mis series animadas favoritas, así que dibujar algunos personajes de esta serie me trae buenos recuerdos, ademas de pikachu he estado practicando en otros pokemones y personajes.

To make this drawing I had to look at many images to take a reference, even I must observe many poses to get an idea of where to locate each limb

### Process / Proceso

To start the sketch, I focused on making a circle that would be the head of Pikachu's body, also I drew a rectangular box under the circle to give shape to the body, so inside the rectangle I drew a kind of oval, as I did not have a clear idea of how to draw the body I decided to make it a little thinner on top, and below leave it with greater size.
I centered an X, approximately where I decided that the nose of our little rodent would go and I drew parallel lines to make the eyes, cheeks and mouth.
> Para comenzar a realizar el boceto, me centre en hacer un circulo que fuera la cabeza del cuerpo de Pikachu, ademas dibuje una caja rectangular bajo el circulo para poder darle forma al cuerpo, así que dentro del rectángulo dibuje una especie de ovalo, como no tenia una idea clara de como dibujar el cuerpo decidí hacerlo un poco mas delgado arriba, y abajo dejarlo con mayor tamaño.
Centre una X, aproximada donde decidí que iría la nariz de nuestro pequeño roedor y dibuje lineas paralelas para hacer los ojos, mejillas y boca.

Draw the eyes near the first lines of interception, erase the X and place the pikachu's nose as a small pyramid, the cheeks try to make them with a visible separation and that they were under the eyes, and now that I notice it one was a little farther than the other. I made the mouth with a W shape to make it easier.
> Dibuje los ojos cercanos a las primeras lineas de intercepción, borre la equis y coloque la nariz de pikachu como una pequeña pirámide, las mejillas trate de hacerlas con una separación visible y que estuvieran bajo los ojos, y ahora que lo noto una quedo un poco mas lejos que la otra. La boca la hice con una forma de W para hacerlo mas sencillo.

Now I drew some lines upwards to make the ears, the way to do it was with an approximate distance for both sides, apart I made some perpendicular lines at the end of the line and others parallel to the sides, this way I made another rectangle to guide me. 
On the body I marked 3 spaces with small dashes, all approximate because there I would draw the hands.
> Ahora trace unas lineas hacia arriba para poder hacer las orejas, la manera de hacerlo fue con una distancia aproximada para ambos lados, aparte hice unas lineas perpendiculares al final de la linea y otras paralelas a los costados, de esta manera hice otro rectángulo para guiarme. 
En el cuerpo marque 3 espacios con pequeños guiones, todos aproximados ya que alli dibujaría las manos.

I drew the pointed ears just like in the series and the hands if I made them at random 🤣, I was looking for a shape and it was given to me this way.
> Dibuje las orejas puntiagudas tal cual como en la serie y las manos si las hice al azar 🤣, estaba buscando una forma y se me dio de esta manera.

The feet I tried to make them equally simple, so I drew them without many details like a kind of shoe, for the tail I started drawing rectangles one over the other with different orientations and sizes to be able to give details later.
> Los pies trate de hacerlos de igual manera sencillos, asi que los dibuje sin muchos detalles como una especie de zapato, para la cola comencé a dibujar rectángulos uno sobre otro con diferentes orientaciones y tamaños para poder darle detalles luego.

Now mark with the pencil the outer contour, i.e. the ears, the tail, the outside of the body and the head.
> Ahora remarque con el lápiz el contorno exterior, es decir las orejas, la cola, la parte externa del cuerpo y la cabeza.

Finally, emphasize the details of the eyes, nose and feet, as well as giving black color to the tips of the ears. I drew triangles on my hands to make pikachu fingers, and although I didn't like the result it was the best I got after 2 attempts.
> Por ultimo, remarque los detalles de los ojos, nariz y pies, ademas de darle color negro a las puntas de las orejas. Dibuje triángulos en las manos para hacer los dedos de pikachu, y aunque no me gusto el resultado fue el mejor que obtuve después de 2 intentos.

### Final 
The final step was to erase the excess graphite and the lines I used for guidance and I'm not an artist or anything like that but I was instructed to put a signature on it. 
> El paso final fue borrar el exceso de grafito y las lineas que utilice para guiarme y no soy un artista ni nada por el estilo pero me indicaron que el colocara una firma.

I sincerely liked my first sketch, my first drawing as such, although this super basic one I will try to improve as soon as possible.
> Sinceramente me gusto mucho mi primer boceto, mi primer dibujo como tal, aunque esta súper básico intentare mejorar lo mas pronto posible.
