Quizás yo no sea muy experto en el tema, pero creo que algo de suma importancia para aquellos que tienen motocicletas en perfecto estado, darle un poco de cariño de vez en cuando, y mantenerla limpia, todo al día para evitar algún tipo de accidente, y mas importante para salvaguardar vidas.
> I may not be an expert on the subject, but I believe that something of utmost importance for those who have motorcycles in perfect condition, to give it a little love from time to time, and keep it clean, all up to date to avoid some kind of accident, and more importantly to safeguard lives.
Mi motocicleta 150cc esta en perfectas condiciones, aquella que he mostrado en muchos post, sin embargo esta motocicleta atv 250cc no lo esta del todo, pues como mi hermano (su actual dueño) esta en Colombia, ya no hay alguien que pueda mantenerla al día. Por eso antes y después de utilizarla, intento hacerle un poco de mantenimiento, ademas que tiene mucho tiempo sin encenderse y guardada, es bueno de vez en cuando dar un paseo.

Por eso decidí pedirle ayuda a mi primo, ya que el si tiene mucho mas conocimiento de este tema, y conoce muy bien esta moto. Lo primero que hicimos fue chequear el aceite del motor, que no faltara nada y no necesitara cambiarse, apretamos algunos cables, revisamos la batería que estaba completamente muerta, y que la bujía funcionara sin problemas.
> That's why I decided to ask my cousin for help, because he has much more knowledge about this subject, and he knows this bike very well. The first thing we did was to check the engine oil, that nothing was missing and it didn't need to be changed, we tightened some cables, checked the battery that was completely dead, and that the spark plug worked without problems.
Con ayuda de algunas llaves, destornilladores y prensas apretamos la cadena que estaba un poco floja, al igual que algunas tuercas, y los amortiguadores, sin duda algunas cosas esenciales para evitar un accidente.
> With the help of some wrenches, screwdrivers and presses we tightened the chain that was a bit loose, as well as some nuts, and the shock absorbers, no doubt some essential things to avoid an accident.
Al igual que una especie de protector de cadena que posee la moto por debajo, también estaba muy flojo y tenia un mal sonido cuando rozaba con la cadena.

Engrasamos la cadena, llenamos los cauchos de aire, y todo listo para rodar, lo básico ya estaba hecho, ahora no debería tener algún problema al momento de salir, excepto por la batería claro, debía empujar la moto para poder encenderla.
> We greased the chain, we filled the air tires, and everything was ready to ride, the basics were already done, now I should not have any problem at the time of leaving, except for the battery of course, I had to push the bike to be able to start it.
Encendimos la moto y sorpresa una falla técnica de mayor magnitud apareció, se trataba del carburador, estaba completamente sucio y tapado, ademas que la Junta de estanqueidad o empaquetadura estaba en mal estado, por esto la motocicleta no mantenía presión y se apagaba cada 10 segundos. Tardamos varios minutos en improvisar una empaquetadura, y en solventar el problema, lo difícil fue retirar el asiento y sacar el carburador para limpiarlo, el resto fue fácil, gracias a mi primo claro.
> We started the bike and surprise a technical failure of greater magnitude appeared, it was the carburetor, was completely dirty and covered, in addition to the seal or gasket was in poor condition, so the bike did not maintain pressure and shut down every 10 seconds. We took several minutes to improvise a gasket, and to solve the problem, the difficult thing was to remove the seat and take out the carburetor to clean it, the rest was easy, thanks to my cousin of course.
Finalmente todo estaba en orden, pudimos salir, dar un paseo, pude practicar un poco de motocross y muchas mas cosas, todo en orden y sin riesgo alguno, por eso es bueno realizarle el mantenimiento básico a un carro o a una moto antes de salir a un lugar, para no quedarse varado.
Lo difícil y sumamente aburrido fue lavar la moto y quitarle la enorme cantidad de barro que pudo acumular.
> Finally everything was in order, we could go out, take a walk, I could practice a little bit of motocross and many more things, everything in order and without any risk, that's why it's good to do the basic maintenance to a car or a bike before going out to a place, so you don't get stuck.
The difficult and extremely boring thing was to wash the bike and remove the enormous amount of mud that could accumulate.
Sin embargo luego de abundante agua, jabón y desengrasante, y muchos minutos lavando, por fin quedo impecable, parecía reluciente, no tanto como cuando estaba nueva, pero si lucia mucho mejor, sin embargo así limpia como estaba se guardo de nuevo en el mismo sitio.
> However, after plenty of water, soap and degreaser, and many minutes of washing, it finally looked impeccable, not as shiny as when it was new, but it did look much better, yet it was clean as it was, and was put back in the same place.
Y bueno al final, lo ultimo que faltaba era que yo tomara un baño, también me urgía asearme.
