Pasabocas de harina de maíz - La receta de la abuela. / Snacks made with corn flour - Grandma's recipe.
It was a little whim that we wanted to please, and the result was as expected. Hope everyone is well, see you in a next post.

Hey amigos, como están?, bueno la tarde de hoy preparé unos pasapalos o pasabocas al estilo de la abuela, con harina de maíz y un poco de anoto, es algo sencillo de preparar, se trata de unas mini empanadas, bolitas de rellenas de queso y carne, al igual que unas pequeñas mini arepas rellenas. Esto lo acompañe con una salsa de ajo que preparé, y la verdad es que estaba muy antojado de comer así, solo me faltó una Maltín Polar bien fría, por eso quiero mostrarles el proceso de preparación que es muy sencillo.

Lo primero que hice fue agregar un poco de anoto en un sartén con aceite, de esta manera lo iba a cocinar a fuego lento, para que el aceite tomara el color y el sabor del onoto, cuando estaba el color naranja intenso apague el sartén  y deje enfriar el aceite por 10min.

Ahora utilizamos harina de maíz precocida, en este caso nosotros la marca pan, para que la masa sea un poco mas suave, mezclamos la harina con agua tibia, y aquí donde surgen las discusiones de la cocina ¿Qué va primera la harina o el agua?, nosotros primero agregamos la harina, sal y luego el agua mientras integramos todo.

Lo siguiente es agregar el aceite que dejamos reposar, solo un poco para que la masa se torne de color naranja, amasamos bien sin dejar grumos y la masa estará lista.

Es el momento de darle forma a las empanadas y necesitamos un trozo de papel plástico,  comenzamos con una bolita y le daremos forma circular con las manos, luego le agregamos el relleno, nosotros usamos queso y un poco de carne molida. Repetimos el proceso hasta terminar la masa, pero también decidimos hacer bolitas rellenas, y unas mini arepas con los mismos ingredientes.

Freímos todo en un sartén con abundante aceite, en el momento que estén doradas por ambos lados las retiramos.

La salsa de ajo la prepararemos con un poco de mayonesa 3-4 (cucharadas), 5 dientes de ajo, y unas ramitas de cilantro, además una pizca de sal y una pizca de pimienta. Puedes agregar un chorrito de aceite y un poco de agua para que todo se licue mejor. Todo esto lo agregamos en una licuadora por 4 min aproximadamente.
> We will prepare the garlic sauce with a little mayonnaise 3-4 (tablespoons), 5 cloves of garlic, and a few sprigs of cilantro, plus a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper. You can add a splash of oil and a little water so that everything blends better. All this is added in a blender for about 4 minutes.

Cuando todos los ingredientes estén bien triturados y la salsa se vea un poco consistente, la retiraremos de la licuadora y la serviremos.

Finalmente todo estará listo y ya podemos probarlo los pasapalos, con la salsa de ajo le da un toque demasiado delicioso.
