Steem is the first crypto that actually has a genuine use case for my needs. Whilst BTC is so popular, I don't like the idea of just holding it. Steem allows so much more, including developing apps on the blockchain and curating authors. Also, it's allowed me to grow as a blogger :) Here's a little upvote from my witness ;)

Both, i first came in the crypto world for money, but in the way i discovered an amazing technology!

I like cryptography, mainly because of its decentralized character.
Similarly for the alternative of exchanging it for fiat money; For people who live in developing countries, such as Venezuela, it represents a great advantage in the face of the economic crisis ...
It should be noted that cryptography is the economy of the future and it is an ingenious software, a work of art, a computer product, behind which is a group of wonderful people (engineers, moderators, blockchain developers, investors, computer science, etc.) that look for a common good.

I had heard about crypto years earlier but passed up a chance to buy bitcoin at what is now a very cheap price. Didn't hear much again for a few years after that. I was always interesting in writing and stumbled onto STEEM while looking for a way to earn a few extra euro through my writing. From there I fell down the rabbit hole and got sucked deep into STEEM and into crypto in genereal but mainly through my own effort and research. It was rare to see and ggod information on what STEEM is capable off and the solutions it offers. This goes for all crypto in general. It took trial and error but at least I have a decent knowledge of what I am doing and what I hope to achieve. I believe STEEM will be a game changer at some point but am happy to be here for the ride until then and help where i can until we hit that point.

Can refuse that money becomes one of the factors when tempted to enter the world of the blockchain, but of course many other things are triggers to be more active and work here. I feel it makes no difference when I write on Facebook, WA, or just write on a computer or cellphone.
Once I knew there was a media that accommodated aspirations and there were other economic values the more sure I joined this blockchain.
Instead of writing for which there is no added value in money, then naturally it becomes a logical choice to post on Steemit.

I like crypto because I believe in a decentralized future.

Well, as you said, I'm part of the percentage of people who is in the world of cryptos for money, but I go a little further...

Knowing this new world where money (and the information) is decentralized and being able to earn it by investing my time, my creativity and my knowledge on certain subjects was an opportunity that I could not ignore. The future of money is digital and anyone who has not realized it is at a disadvantage... However, sooner or later, everyone will have to find a way to fit in.

This new way of seeing money and also being able to earn, spend and exchange it through various means was also something that attracted me and that also keeps me here. Also, I can say that I literally started studying about finance (and that was something I had never done before... at least not with such curiosity and desire).
