I'm Going Heavy On Leo This Month - Posts And Delegations

Alright Leo it's your time to shine. I got one or two more things to finish up with some other investments and then I'm focusing on Leo. My goal is to get at least 30k staked but really I want to get to the 50k Leo mark as soon as I can. Do I think the price is going to moon after we go on the swap? Probably not. There is a chance it explodes or goes back down to 5 cents and stays there for awhile. Either way I do not care because I think this coin has a good future with or without uniswap. This could be a long term job for me if the coin can stabilise to a coin amount and with a new site that takes off separate from Hive we can really see this coin grow.

Posts

I will be working my ass off to create posts for Leo. These posts will all be 300 words minimum, usually longer, so that they will be picked up by Google searches. When you post try to hit this mark as it will help Leo get more searches. There is the exception of Quello posts of course but any article you post should be at this length minimum. But you are better off aiming for the 700 word plus mark if you can, though it can be hard at times depending on the topic. The goal is to try to post everyday if I can and if the price really goes up in Leo then maybe I will turn this blog into a brand on here and create some serious strong articles for this site that hopefully bring in more users.

Delegation

I'm also thinking of delegating most of my Hive to @leo.voter for at least 30 days. This gets a good return in Leo and since I'll be posting heavy on here for the next 30 days it might be a better use of my Hive Power. I think if I get a vote from leovoter I get Hive too so I can still earn Hive while I earn more Leo with the delegation. I will figure out how much I delegate after this post but it will probably be close to it all.

I'm in no hurry once I get to the 40k or 50k mark for this site to explode but I really would like to see it stabilise at a good price so I can be a full-time blogger. I do not know how much longer I can post for pennies :p. There is a long way to go but as you know things move fast when they do. And Leo is when of those coins that can blow up. Even if Leo doesn't explode this year I'll keep building until I get to the 100k mark. Either way this geek is here to stay as I have a lot of confidence in the team and what this coin can do with this low level market cap.

For people who use Leo what kind on content would you like to see me post? What do you think will help attract more users to the site?

I like that you're thinking about SEO and content that is targeted at the trading/investment audience outside of those within the current Hive ecosystem.  Getting outside eyes here is the key to success and the way we're going to do that is to have quality finance writers who add value.

Don't just always talk about LeoFinance, pick a trading/investment sub-niche like forex, stocks, personal finance etc and focus on really adding value there.

I have to say that it does annoy me to see even my own posts that earn the most LEO upvotes are the self congratulatory posts saying how great LeoFinance is.  But I'm convinced that for the long term success of LeoFinance, we need more outward facing trading/investment content that people simply keep reading because it's good, not because it's on LeoFinance.

When we attract traders/investors away from sites like Seeking Alpha or Forex Factory, then we will really get on a roll.

One final tip is to try using a bit of markdown in your posts to include subheadings.  Here's a [beginner's guide to markdown](https://hive.blog/markdown/@gmuxx/a-beginner-s-guide-to-markdown) I just quickly found on Google.

To keep it simple, try adding "###" in front of your subheadings, especially if they contain the keyword you're trying to target.  Not only are subheadings good for SEO, but they make your content much more readable.

It is impossible to ignore that the Leo posts about Leo is the best way to make Leo but I will only do a couple a week so not to abuse it. But I agree the key to success is getting non-leo and non-hive users is to make strong content that reaches as many people as we can. I'll probably stick mostly with blockchain and crypto investment articles as that is my area of expertise. Though personal finance is good too.

I'll check-out the markdown guide, I need to get more familiar with it. To be honest I'm just focusing on project after project until one is steady before I really start blogging full-time and take it seriosuly, I'm hoping Leo is one of those projects. I tried the ### but it didn't work on my new article.

A very sound plan @whatgeek.  There is a lot taking place that will make this a viable long term alternative for people.  We are going to see a much different picture come the end of the year with LEO, regardless of uniswap or not.

A lot going on and a nice pump on Uniswap will just be icing on the cake.  The development that is taking place is exceptional.
