Although yes sometimes I do getting writer's block or I start get discouraged, I do still consider it very worth my energy. It may flop or not,who knows. But if it doesn't I see it being among the top coins. Also Im finally seeing what people meant when they were saying that it gets easier to earn steem when prices drop heavily. So with that info im trying to post daily or even twice if possible. lol

In my case, i can easily evaluate that Steemit is worthful for my efforts because, before I've put more efforts than Steem on other platforms for many months but i got **Zero**. But, after working on this platform I've had great journey with effective rewards too, then for me there is no case to choose Steemit against any other platform.

May be Steem have pros and cons but we have to evaluate the result and in my opinion no platform gives this kind of result where you can enter with zero investment and you can create surprising Steem Portfolio. And there are many who can give positive Testimony because Steemit affected masses positively.

I like the way steemit works, getting paid directly for the content you post and the interaction with it vs getting a cut of advertising revenue just seems like a better model.

This place by far beats any forum i was relegated to because fedbook blocked me.
None of those i was on had more than 4 or 5 long term members, and they were rather dedicated to their insularity.
Not friendly to ideas outside their own box, for the most part.

We could do with some more dissent here, but the corporate speakers keep them run off, mostly.
They sure aint supporting things they disagree with in the interests of stirring debate.
The circle jerking is strong here.

But, so far, other than getting booted from some discords for the sin of speaking truth to the power, ive been well tolerated.
Even supported, by some.

That says something good about the members that make up the community.

steemit should actually be a side hustle to most of us.

I'm so new on here that I don't even understand HOW people are making money on here... I mean, I made a few posts and I up-vote what I like and I get the one or two up-votes now and again but as for how the monetary value (or even the reputation points system) work, I just don't get it.

My intro post got quite a few replies and votes and I made $0.07. Yeay! Then,one day, I noticed I have the same number of replies and votes but the post is now worth only $0.05. Huh? How does that work?

But, fortunately for me, I don't care about that stuff. My own blog was discontinued years ago cause I had nobody coming to my site to read it. I don't want to be one of those sites that exist exclusively to re-post content from other sites just so I can show ads along with it... so what do I do? I simply don't post anywhere.

To me it is not about getting loads of followers or massive volume of traffic to my site, it's about getting people to read what you have to say. That is why, when I write something I always write so much that people would want 3 TLDR versions per post... but I never post unless I have anything to say. It might not be interesting to many but it is something I want to share and I would want that seen by people who would find it interesting to read... getting 10,000 uninterested page loads, yawn.

Telling you what I had for breakfast... why in the world would you care? If you do a search for something and after 5 sites that had the exact same article world for word you finally come to my site and find the same article there yet again, repeated word for word... That frustrates the living daylights out of me and I would imagine others feel the same. I don't want to be that guy. I'd rather keep my views to myself or stay anonymous rather than being someone who's sole purpose is to have a website that just pulls content from other places JUST to get people to my site so I can get advertising money. That is just not me.

I only found out about Steemit after I got my login details for DTube. I went "Oh, so I have an account here now? Okay, let me check it out" and so far the people here seem pleasantly welcoming... I feel people are receptive to what people want to say and it is a great place to say what you have to say when you have something to say...

As such, I enjoy using Steemit as a way to reach out to others (and to find interesting stuff to read as well). With only that, I am happy here. If I make (literally) a few pennies here or there, hey, what do you know!? Apart from that I not only DONT understand how this money thing works, I also don't care...

Steemit works for me because I already have an audience for whatever I have to say. What more could any blogger want? All I have to do is make sure I don't become a nuisance to have around and then all is well with the world. 

Personally, I DO get depressed when I see my posts don't interest anyone,sure (I want hundreds of up-votes per post 😎😅), but the money part absolutely doesn't even factor into why I am here.

That's just my two cents (pun intended 😅😜). If other people do this as their day job, well good for them, I guess... and now I return to my dark, silent corner of Steemit ...

It's worth my energy because I enjoy it. If I stop enjoying it it will stop being worth my energy. It's nice that I make a little bit of money here but I certainly don't consider this my main job. It is weird when I see so many people that do consider their main job though.

 I hope it continues to be as awesome as it is now for a long time in the future. There are so many parts of it that I like including posting and being a part of Steemspeak.   Will it always be like this? I don't know but I'm enjoying it now which is why I judge it as awesome.

I would say it's worthy energy because it's shown that it's one for the future, one mustn't judge it the current state, the truth is cryptocurrency has it rise and fall  but I believe STEEM is credible

Nice post! I often wonder about the amount of time and energy I'm spending here, and if it's worth it. To me, it seems a bit all or nothing; consistency and interaction are everything, and if you fall off, it seems hard to get back up again. Still building my account up, methinks Steemit and Ono will be main foci this summer.

One problem I personally have is I wasn't active enough when SBD was way up and didn't accumulate enough steem for powering up. Now I struggle bcs of upvotes being worthless. 
On the other hand, I'm trying to save up money and buy steem so I can power up as I see this as a good opportunity to do so.

Apparently, so many ups and downs have been going on on steemit for a while especially the low price if steem, all the same we are still waiting for the Smt's to come out.

I like the way you look at things. Seems rather healthy to me.

Steemit being a community still makes me want to make the most out of said community. For better or worse.

Thats just a fact. I read post of people complaining about quality content when is is actually subjective. Not very often. In fact, I don't think anyone will want to do it at all. It is very true that the amount of steem one holds is actually the key.

You have a healthy attitude. I'm happy enough that I earn something and I can't do much about others who make much more with junk posts. Life isn't fair, but you can try your best.
