크리스티아누 호날두(Cristiano Ronaldo) 선수가 스페인 마드리드에서 특이한 사업을 시작한다고 발표했다.

12일(이하 한국시각) 영국 일간지 '미러'는 "호날두가 스페인 마드리드에서 모발이식 센터 사업을 공표했다. 오는 18일 그는 공동 창업자 파울로 라모스(Paulo Ramos)와 함께 모발 이식 센터를 열 것"이라고 보도했다.

매체는 호날두 인터뷰를 인용해 "마드리드는 내게 특별한 도시다. (마드리드는) 나를 한 단계 발전시켰고 내가 가족을 구성할 수 있게 했다. 이번 프로젝트같이 탄탄한 프로젝트를 지원하고 싶었다"고 밝혔다.

같은 날 나이지리아 언론 '레지트'는 호날두 인터뷰를 중점적으로 보도했다.

보도에서 호날두는 "모발 이식을 받을 의향이 있는가"라는 취재진 질문에 "이미지는 성공을 위해 필수적인 요소다. 나중에 필요하면 나도 분명히 (모발 이식을) 받을 것"이라고 답했다.

매체는 "이번 사업은 인스파라야그룹이 주도한다. 마드리드에 건립된 모발 이식 센터는 150명의 전문가가 18개 객실에서 하루 18건의 모발이식을 진행한다"고 전했다. 

호날두는 "포르투갈 모발 이식 기술을 알리게 돼 기쁘다. 탈모로 고민하는 여성들이 이번 모발 이식 서비스를 받아 문제를 해결하기를 바란다"는 말도 함께 전했다.
