Defining my style in photography

For almost 15 years now, I've been trying to define a style of photography every day. From the very beginning, when I was a university student, I began exploring the world of photography from different perspectives, primarily documentary or journalistic photography because I was studying journalism. However, I always did other projects that focused on other areas, such as landscape photography, portraiture, and other topics. Later, through a friend, I began to explore wedding photography, as well as a bit of sports photography, although after a while I stopped doing this type of photography.

I remember that I also had a break because I didn't have a camera at that time, but I still continued taking the occasional photo with my cell phone.  Later, when I acquired a camera again, I focused on street photography. Truth be told, I started to like this style more because I also like walking the streets of any city, looking for details. But from there, I also began to like architectural photography, where the goal is to create motifs where shapes and geometry are the main foundation for composition.

Therefore, in general terms, I define myself more as street photography, partly due to the spontaneity and circumstances that arise within it, although it's also a matter of seeking out those scenes where there's that harmony I always seek, between the motifs, the lighting, and the contrast. So, as I can show through this photographic series, it's an example of what I've been saying, although in the end, it won't be the style that defines me at all, because somehow, over time, one discovers new fields and perspectives of photography.

Street photography is all about predicting how things will be going, very great exercise to train the eyes. it is certianly a hard photographic style, especially a sahy person like me.
