The biggest reason why I stopped doing this daily project was because the setup I used to shoot them became quite a hassle to setup and break down every day just for 1 photo of 1 elephant. Very soon, however, @jazzyfish and I will be clearing out a lot of stuff in our garage, freeing up tons of space for both of us to have projects if we wanted. This will give me a great opportunity to set everything up for this, and just LEAVE IT there.

To recap: 
My father had an enormous collection of elephants that he either purchased himself or was gifted. He had many friends throughout his life, and it was no secret that he loved elephants with a passion. Over the course of 50 years or so, he accumulated a collection of them of somewhere in the neighborhood of 900 to 1,200. Some have been lost, some were given away when he passed, and others were broken and/or destroyed, so I'm not 100% sure how many of them I have, but my family made sure I got them, which could've been 80-90% or more of what he had. 

I don't have the space to put them all on display in my own home, and they're just sitting in boxes waiting to be dealt with in some way. Therefore, I've decided I want to catalog them. After that, I may sell some of them. I don't know yet. But as a photographer, to me it makes sense to apply my passion to his passion in some way. And when you begin to see all the images together, it creates a sense of completion.
