I took this picture on my way to Chemo. Someone lives here and is very happy with it. I thought it was someone’s shop for a long time. Come to find out it was converted into a home. 

Today is my last day of cycle 5 chemo. Next Tuesday there will be another blood test on 8th of January. This test we will see how my vitals are doing after the chemo.

This appointment will set the stage on future treatments. See if we can continue to cycle 6 chemo. Result of blood test.
Schedule CT scan to determine progress on cancer, possible remittances

I believe we will move into cycle 6 because of how well we are doing. 

>**Cancer remission**
Remission occurs when the signs and symptoms of a particular disease, in this case cancer, decrease or disappear after treatment. Though cancer may be considered in remission, cancer cells may remain in the body.

>There are two types of cancer remission:

>Partial remission, also called a partial response, is when some but not all of the cancer has disappeared in response to treatment.
Complete remission, also called a complete response, occurs when no sign of cancer or its symptoms can be detected or measured. In this case, screening tests, exams and scans reveal no evidence of disease. Complete remission does not mean cancer is cured, because some cancer cells may remain. After five years of complete remission, cancer is considered successfully managed.

After 10 years of complete remission you may be considered cured

The best I can hope for is Partial remission with the type of cancer I have. I have expressed my concerns about this many times. It is the reason that I have expressed that after cycle 6 chemo I have to get through 90 days without the cancer striking back. This is one of the reasoning to get into the immunotherapy trial during the 90 days and beyond. 

We are almost there. All this fighting and pushing forward is coming to a head. It has been a long time and a hard road to have navigated. 
We have been through this a couple time where I am not as productive during this time. Chemo has started ware and tarring me down. We will fight through this just like the other 4 times. So hang on for a ride.

#actifit, this is a good idea and I encourage it. We need to stay active. No one really has time to go to the gym. With raising kids , work and just life in general. I am not in the shape I was when I was in my 30’s. The lean green fighting machine of those days are long gone. I will not get out there and run 5 miles. Hell , only way I would cover 5 miles is by car.
Being active does keep you somewhat fit. I have been active over the years. I can tell you with absolutely certain that this is a major factor in the results of my cancer treatment. I have been relying on my reserves,what I have built up.
