As a minnow we are disadvantaged . We do not know the rules or how the game is played . Unfortunately Steemit has become a game . A game in the sense  that certain levels have to be achieved before you level up .  Leveling up by increasing your  number of followers , reputation , post and comments in order to power up with Steem Power . In order to level up you are told to post good content and make comments . By doing so you will increase all the paths that lead to more Steem Power . 

Some of the players are gaming the system . They are using many methods in order to rake the curation . Bots , multi accounts and auto vote are some of the more popular methods . There is a better way , a long lasting , rewarding and right way .  As minnows we do not ask for or expect  a free hand out . What we do expect is  fairness . It is within our power to to change Steemit from the bottom up . Instead of waiting and hoping for a top down solution .

I have seen one proposal that would create a Bot in order to discourage bad behavior .  It requires support from whales . If whales are not doing anything now why would the support it now . Don't misunderstand there are some whales who attempt to provide fairness at there own peril . It is a good Idea with good intentions . But it is not for a minnow to be involved in , (support with delegation) . Each Minnow is one unto himself .  Combined , United in a common goal minnows are an unstoppable force .


My approach is a little different . It has a two prongs . Training and support .

Training :
 Each of us has different talents .  If we use a pear to pear training system we can educate each other by improving posts and comments  . Strengthening our weaknesses and reducing our learning curve time .  

Support :
We have to support each other . By supporting each other that means making comments that are both educational and positive . Thoughtful comments that warrant a response and building a conversation .

A simple example to illustrate a point . 
If you have 10 minnows . each minnow makes one post every day . Each minnow up votes the post and makes a comment . Without any other influence every post has 10 up vote and 20 comments . (provided you responded to each comment)

 Is every one of your post doing that now ? What do you think the result will be in 6 months ?

As time goes by and everyone's Steem Power increases so does the rewards . Once Steem Power reaches a point  you can lend your SP to another to help increase their SP and then repeat to another . 
This is based on a giving attitude . Giving to those at the lower levels . Buy giving everyone grows . A raising tide raises all boats .    

This is an idea collaborated with a friend who gives more then he receives .
