<div class="text-justify">A newcomer in this arena just a week ago and the game rolled out its newest battle event: “The Conclave Arcana Conflicts”. I’m not even done figuring out what Summoners or Monsters to get onto the battleground and boom something not only new but super exciting pops up. All that I have managed to accomplish so far is the purchase of the Spellbook and trying to engage in more practical to level up my game on battle strategies.

True, I couldn’t have chosen a more exciting time to get onboard other than this. I may not have any cards yet. Splinterlands might be a whole new project I’m trying to figure out. Yet I have already discovered the vision behind The Conclave Arcana Conflicts. And here to share my very own impressions, learning curve and plan to join this battle.

### What are Arcana Conflicts, anyway?

The Conflicts for short are part of a 30-day staking event which allows players earn points through staking of cards and packs in Mage Wagons. In return, get a chance to participate in an exclusive airdrop event based on points accumulation from the staked cards. A limited-edition airdrop cards are for grabs to participants who turned out to meet the criteria for the said event/if not disqualified and have have met the desired target. Them cards are assets worth adding to a portfolio. Trust me they are actually worth the chase and hustle. Just the art works alone is something else - crazy designs and crafts of top notch.

The Mage Wagon can hold 5 Cards of Conclave Arcana/Rebellion and up to packs of 100. Rewards are based on Cumulative Points from staked cards. So, basically, more cards staked more points. More points mean more reward (Limited-Edition Cards Airdrop chance) making the competition very tight. What I really like about this event is how it’s getting the attention of both competitors and collectors across the blockchain and beyond.

But unfortunately, I’m new, like really new. Don’t have any cards yet and no packs either. Not to even talk of battling my way out of Bronze III to enter into such a competitive competition. So, the question is how do I even think of participating in this event to talk of manoeuvring all the way to the top. I doubt anybody cares about that tho. Lol.

Well, there is always something possible to be done in a determined heart. I realized something important here. There is no need to be dominant to participate. Just the willingness to learn is more than enough.

For this reason, I have been keenly learning how top and experienced players set up their Mage Wagons, other discussions and guidelines related to the event, and asking relevant questions. I am researching like never before.

Strategic Research Approach includes just these three below;

- Which cards are going to offer a high Cumulative Points yet cheaper at the market
- Rentel prices and how they vary during such events that are so much attention deriving.
- And whether it’s a better idea to rent, buy or even wait.

The main focus for now is building up my DEC through consistent battles to be able to be at the upper hand when the next of Conclave Arcana Conflicts hits the ground. Aiming to use this current one as a learning hub. Nevertheless, I would do all I can to get something in. There is still enough time to work out something incredibly great. All in at this point, not only for now but for the next ones to come- Long Term Goals mindset.

### My Strategies Going forward

It’s possible I do jump on this event. Can’t be hundred percent on that tho weighing the odds, yet even if I do, its going to be on budget but will make sure the very best of result is comes out. Which will be;

- Renting 1-3 high Cumulative Point Conclave Arcana Cards
- Save up some $$$ to buy the Mage Wagon or
- Possibly teaming up with a guild for better synergy.

The long-term plan is the major focus now nevertheless not giving up so easy on current opportunities that presents themselves. Yet understanding the mechanics, steady growth of account and preparing for next event with full armour. As for this current one, I am a bit sceptic looking at the time intervals and other factors. It would take more than just enough to get something meaningful out of this particular one. Nevertheless, I will give it a try and target knowledge acquisition as an end reward and hoping for the best outcome in the case of Limited-Editions Cards Airdrop.

My fellow newbies, don’t be overwhelmed in case you found yourself in my shoes, we are in this together. Don’t give up so easily either without a fight and most importantly don’t ignore the learning process. Learn, Build, Grow and Earn and may our Wagons never rust.
