Tribute to The Tire Filler Service

Age does not become a barrier for someone to work. At least that can be seen and lessons learned from Mr. "Tire Filler" life. Tire patcher is a type of service that is arguably simpl, but has an important role and function. That's how I felt this morning.

With simple equipment such as compressors, special stoves for tire patching, and various other small equipment for patching tires, this man whohas long been in the service of patchibg has told a lot. Alhough he said to be 80 years old this year because he was born in his 40s, he still actively working.

Prior to pursuing this service, decades ago he had been selling fresh milk around from village to village. He already has many grandchildren. And now in his old age whilewaiting for the house with family to sell fuel for motorbikes and cars as well as patching tire.

Today I met him, because my motorcycle tire was leaking. His house is quite strayegic on side of highway which allows me to easily come his place. As well as buying one liter of fuel at a standard price in general. As for thetire patching service, the fee is ten thousand rupiah.
