Should I build a steemit application? And if so, what's needed?

# Hello everyone!

I'm wondering if there's anything missing, any kind of application you all would like to see for the community.
I prefer to use C++/Qt. Communication with APIs like Steemit is nothing I've not done before :)

Depending on what I'm creating I'll make support for all platforms!
So far I was thinking of some kind of app to make submiting steem stories easier to do from your phone.
As I understood from @nippel66 there is no such app yet...
I'm still new here, so suggestions are essential for me.

Yes @wooly an app that allows for scheduling of posts and a more smooth interaction of steemit would be wonderful. Keep us updated of any development you have in mind.

This is a great idea. Giving more control to the poster. I'll look into the API today. And if this is possible. It might be the perfect idea. I'll keep you all updated :)

The main two improvements that would be awesome if you could address in however way you think is possible - 

1. Feed is cluttered. I would like to have more control over how my feed gets populated.

2. Search filters.

Hello @teslalifestyle! If I understand correctly, you're talking about the website? I was thinking more of making an external application than changing the website.
I'm looking into what possibilities I have with an app... It's mostly dependent on functions of the steemit API. I'll update on it later today :)
