Historical Walk Behind the Walls</a> by @ph1102</b><br><br><p>If you plan a trip to Southern Spain, where you want to check out some great historic places and research a very rich heritage, the best time to do it is already over... 😃 I mean, you can visit whenever you want, but going there in summer is the best time to go to the beach... Not great for rambling around open-air castles or streets, where you will probably get sunburnt!

This time, we had a few days to explore the city, and one of the mornings was reserved for a visit to the Alcazaba, a palace/fortification/castle, in the heart of Málaga!

It's a very old square dating back to the 17th century, and its history is linked to the birth of the city. Located on the port avenue, it's one of the first squares created for commercial activities.

It owes its name to the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, located on one of its sides. Not only my duration of visit was perfect, but I also choose to visit the Lakeside at the evening time, which made it hundred times more beautiful, and this experience is gonna stay with me forever.
