However it is that you get to where you're going -- whatever methods of strength you use, make sure you never compromise yourself. 

If you have new beliefs that you want to incorporate into your life then make sure they "feel" right -- trust your instincts.

If somebody is telling you they know better for you-- even if it's mom, dad, a cop, the government -- none of those titles are sufficient to justify your being controlled in ways that you sense, intuit, feel aren't right. 

You have this power of discernment. Use it, it will bear you fruit beyond your wildest imagination. 

Especially. ESPECIALLY-- When it comes to something that is a muse for your artistic or creative powers. Who knows why one or another might try and interfere with someone pursuing their own creative ends. Nonetheless, I promise you this: Walk long enough along your own path and you will eventually encounter COUNTLESS people (spirits, really) who want to steer you this way or that. 

Flexibility and compassion are important and with those two instruments you can certainly veer left or right when someone or something enticing is available. That is entirely up to you, and of course, the paths you travel will have their own unique scenery. 

You can even decide to give yourself over entirely to a faith of your own choosing and then still not have compromised yourself in the least, so long as you are always in agreement with yourself and the new beliefs of your faith.
