Background: I've been in and out of crypto since 2011 but I never made a million dollars, including up to this point. Actually, making a million or more isn't the only factor driving my intense enthusiasm. The other thing is the fact that I'm a "voluntarist" ...

Let me present an argument of sorts in defense of the following thesis: **The Blockchain Revolution is going to change the world as we know it for the better (quickly) and is also going to usher in an era of peaceful voluntarism and economic revitalization.**

First a definition:

Voluntarist, noun: An individual who believes in [negative rights but not positive rights](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_and_positive_rights).

There are definitely other ways to describe it, but that's my personal definition. Or put in normal people terms: A voluntarist is somebody that believes in the principle of "live and let live" or "do what you want as long as you're not harming anyone else."

**I studied philosophy in college and definitely understand some of the headier topics in the philosophical discipline of Ethics.**

My conclusion as an adult (34 years old as of 6/5/17) is the following:
* Voluntarism is the only universally consistent moral theory.
* Voluntarism implemented requires that there no longer exist monopolies upon coercion within geographical boundaries. Or, more simply, states as we know them need to stop existing.
* The internet has enabled a fully voluntary society.
* Cryptography and the blockchain are the final pieces that, once fully implemented and adoped, will shift the tide towards a blockchain based, decentralized society.
* Detractors will say, we just need to make government better and more accountable and perhaps even the blockchain can assist in this (honest voting, honest retirement funds, etc, etc). Perhaps that is a step along the way, perhaps not. Regardless, the goal is a decentralized, peaceful and necessarily voluntary society. The blockchain and smart contracts will enable this... and probably very quickly.
* The detractors' argument can be handled by simply pointing out that it's not "government" that is the Boogeyman, but centralization. If you didn't agree with that you'd be 100% in fiat and not reading this post. 

See where this argument is going?

The blockchain revolution will not be televised.
