<html> <p>When I was growing up, the propaganda of the day was the 'American Dream'. It was the goal of each individual to share in the wealth of this continent by getting educated, getting a job or starting a business and purchasing the house with the white picket fence while raising a family with the goal of retiring at 65 and relax the rest of our days. </p> <p><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/56/Glenn_House_-_The_Dalles_Oregon.jpg" width="1317" height="1169"/><br> Ian Poellet [<a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0">CC BY-SA 3.0</a>]</p> <p>It has been my experience that this dream is a night mare. I've had plenty of opportunities to evaluate the dream over the years and I discovered some fetal flaws in it. I noticed years ago that the dream only addresses physical accumulation of wealth through intellectual superiority and prowess. We cannot take these physical trophies home with us when we leave our mortal coil. So that got me thinking, what is the point? Why would I work so hard to accumulate stuff that I cannot even take with me? </p> <p>Through the years of researching the rabbit hole, I answered that question by realizing that the point is not for me, but rather for the controlling interests of the global elite. As long as people are focused on the physical accumulation of wealth and intellectual mastery, the elite can implement their plans in the darkness and secrecy of their lairs. Well played! It has gone so far into the extreme that we can now have machines make our stuff and AI to do our thinking for us. </p> <p>As a result, we end up in situations where people now have to work several jobs just to make ends meet as the global elite implement their end game. This causes political storms that is now play out in the global arena. These storms are a result of the mass of people being so hopelessly dependent upon the state that they turn to rioting and violence should the state not deliver prosperity for the people. This is exactly what the elite want; chaos, riots, pain and suffering. That feeds right into their plan.</p> <p><strong>If we are going to fix these problems, part of the solution is to make a complete paradigm shift in how we define success. </strong></p> <p>When we start to look at how one sided this whole physical wealth paradigm actually is, we quickly realize that we ignored the whole other side of our being. People ignored the emotional and spiritual aspects in favor for the physical and intellectual game. As a result, people struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, fear and a whole host of other manifestations that does not help serve the journey we are here to walk.</p> <p>When we realize that we are spiritual beings and what we bring home with us is the memories of our relationships along with the experiences that we encounter along this life journey, then it makes sense to accumulate as much of those as possible. Yes, we still need the intellect and the physical stuff, but now they become tools in the acquisition of memories and experiences rather than the end goal of life. </p> <p>In life, the one with the most toys does not win. In life, the one with the courage to heal his / her own wounds, embrace the experiences to be able to do that healing and establishing the foundations that make healthy relationships possible is the new definition of success. </p> <p>What is the top regrets of those on deaths bed? It had nothing to do with the physical acquisition of wealth, but instead had everything to do with their relationships with themselves, family and friends. The challenge now rests with the internal programming that we all grew up with and how do we decolonize ourselves from all that invasive propaganda?</p> <h2>Changing the values we hold dear</h2> <p>This is a foundational idea that changes lives. When we make the conscious choice to change what we value, our life changes as a result. When I surrendered the idea that my own happiness and success was defined by the accumulation of money and instead focused on my relationships, my whole life changed. As a result, I have more relationships now than I've ever had AND they are so spiritually enriching that I often have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream. The astounding part is that I have all the physical things I need in order to live on Mother Earth and I've found ways to be grateful for them all. </p> <p>This requires that I not compare myself to the status quo. If anybody evaluates my life based on the typical definition of success, people would view me as being poor, hill billy, eccentric, trouble maker, boat rocker or perhaps even a terrorist. Their definition of success does not apply to me any longer. I don't care about all their definitions, rules of engagement, etc. I care about spirit, peace, freedom, relationships, memories and experiences. </p> <p>As a result, I feel I've lived more in the last 10 years than I did in the previous 40+. I accumulate memories, friendships and experiences at a blistering rate. I do it all through my efforts to spend time with people, talk to them, help them heal, mentor them through their journey and support them in their own efforts to heal and walk a similar path. </p> <p>The land around where we live is turning into a hot bed of freedom, off grid living, spiritual awakening and tribal manifestations. We are all working on our relationship with Mother Earth, removing ourselves from the addictions of the state and learning how to be independent, providing for our own needs. That prepares us all for the spiritual revolution that is quickly unfolding upon this Earth. As people acknowledge the lies that were promised through the fictional and physical, we start to turn our backs to the puppet masters and they fear that the most. That is why we are called terrorists. We threaten their global empire that they worked so hard to build. </p> <p>But when Spirit starts to govern our lives and we change the focus of what it means to be successful when we are here, we will witness miracles beyond our wildest dreams. The spiritual revolution is at hand and I stand as a witness to it unfolding before my eyes. I chose spiritual success rather than fictional or physical success. I chose a model of success that will enrich my spirit and take with me when I leave. I chose to enrich the Spiritual Realm when I bring these experiences, memories and friendships with me when I return home. </p> <p>I work hard to leave this place in better shape than what I found it when I first came here. That way, future generations of people can build their own memories, experiences and friendships for years to come. I consider myself extremely successful and I am grateful for the choices and healing that I've done in my life. I have many friends, spiritual brothers and sisters and a tribe that I work hard to serve. My dear wife and two boys have enriched my life more than I can possibly comprehend. On this day I celebrate the love that I've found in all areas of my life. My wife has walked this path beside me for over thirty years, 25 of those as my wife. We both embrace this new definition of success and I am forever grateful that we both decided to change our ways. I love her dearly as our relationship is what prepared me to write posts like this.
