She was a good dog. A silly dog. An old dog. A loved dog that I raised from an 8 week old puppy from the SPCA.

I'm not much in the mood to talk today, so I'm likely not going to. Took her to the vet this morning knowing what the outcome would be. I didn't even check into work.

Dear Victor how sad that we both had to say goodbye to the beautiful black beauty’s this week. I am amputated. The kids devistated and the house is not the same. Joey lost his big brother and is not eating. This week has been awful. And the thought of getting his ashes tomorrow kills me.

So i know what your re going through.

That's an incredibly beautiful sentiment, and very true. She was a really great dog. I raised her from a puppy. She would chase leaves in the autumn and play on the playground equipment with the kids - she loved the slide, and then would go for a swim in the creek.

Glad you enjoyed the sentiment at this sorrowful time. It hit home when I first read it after I lost my beloved Cocker Spaniel in 2019. I saved the quote to help other humans when they lose their furbabies.💔
