#### Time for the [BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/battlemagesecrets-june-1-2023).

To spice up weakly battle challenge splinterlands came up with idea of BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge. BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge will allows players to showcase their strategic skills through their line up in battle field in variety of battle rulesets.

**So theme for this week's BATTLE MAGE SECRETS challenge is Explosive Weaponry ruleset. Explosive Weaponry ruleset means all attacking units one the battle field get Blast ability.**

#### **```How to Play```**
Since in Explosive Weaponry ruleset all attacking monster get Blast ability so abilities like Taunt, Reflection Shield and Scattershot becomes more important.
All other abilities work the same way as they would in normal battles.

To avoid increased damage from Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity attack due to Blast, it is best to have a Taunt monster in the team. Moreover Reflection Shield is also pretty handy neutralizing the Blast damage. From an attack point of view Scattershot ability can always come in handy in this ruleset since it allows avoiding Taunt, Camouflage and Reflection Shield monster.


#### **```Suited Summoners```**
The best suited summoner for Explosive Weaponry is ```CONQUEROR JACEK``` as it effectively offers Scattershot to all ranged monsters.


#### **```MY BATTLE With Explosive Weaponry Ruleset```**

This was a 43 mana battle with three battle rules; Explosive Weaponry, What Doesn't Kill You and Are You Not Entertained. All splinters were allowed except Life.

Since Are You Not Entertained? ruleset was in play so I planned one allowed using Gladius Card. Earth splinter offers some of the best Gladius Cards so I went on to play with ```OBSIDIAN```.</div>

##### **```QUORA TOWERSHEAD```**

Upfront, I used my favorite Gladius monster ```QUORA TOWERSHEAD```. Once she gets going she becomes almost impossible to stop. Heavy attack plus a perfect combo of defensive abilities makes QUORA the worthy Gladius.

##### **```FUNGUS FLINGER```**

On one down I positioned ```FUNGUS FLINGER```. The sole purpose of ```FUNGUS FLINGER``` was to die from Blast damage and trigger its Martyr ability to boost ```QUORA```.</div>

##### **```GOBLIN PSYCHIC```**

Next, I placed the healer, ```GOBLIN PSYCHIC```. ```GOBLIN PSYCHIC``` serves the role of low mana high potency magic attack monster. </div>

##### **```QUEEN MYCELIA```**

Next is placed my favorite earth legendary ```QUEEN MYCELIA```. Loaded with abilities like Protect, Amplify, Triage and Rust, QUEEN costs just 4 mana making her a suitable for all kind of mana situations.</div>

##### **```SPIRIT OF THE FOREST```**

On the second last position, I used another healer, the legendary ```SPIRIT OF THE FOREST```. So basically my tank had self heal and two healers at its disposal. </div>

On the last position, I used the Taunt monster ```MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN```. The plan was to deflect enemy attack and provide ```QUORA``` time to get going. </div>

#### **```BATTLE ANALYSIS```**

<div class="text-justify">

The battle went as planned. ```QUORA``` kept on attacking undisturbed due to ```MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN```. The turning moment was triggering of Martyr ability of ```FUNGUS FLINGER```. After that ```QUARA``` kept on growing and killed whole enemy team.</div>
