#### Evening Splinterlands Lovers

So today a few of the [new upcoming reward cards have been revealed](https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/announcing-21-new-reward-cards). But the most exciting part was the unveiling of a few new amazing abilities that are coming to splinterlands with new reward cards and upcoming Chaos Legion Packs. (God... I wanna buy as many as many Chaos Legions packs as I can!)

**So lets discuss the newly revealed abilities one by one:**

### Amplify

So Amplify is the new cool ability, which like the name suggests will increase the damage done by Magic Reflect, Thorns and Return Fire by 1 to all enemy monsters. This will effectively counter the Shield and Void ability perk of the enemy monsters(to some extent) and the rest of the lot will affected even more.</div>


### Forcefield

Forcefield ability will basically act as a stopper to extravagant attack monsters(5+ attack). Forcefield ability monsters will only receive 1 damage from 5+ attack monster. This will be extremely useful in effectively countering last stand attacks. </div>


### Camouflage

Camouflage is the most impressive of the newly unveiled abilities, if you ask me. Camouflage ability monsters cant be cannot be targeted for attacks(magic reflect, thorns, retaliation and return fire). Imagine attacks without worrying about the consequences..cool, right!</div>

### Deathblow

Deathblow is an aggressive ability. It allows the monster possessing it to deal 2X damage to the last surviving member of enemy team. Again like Forcefield, Deathblow would prove invaluable in countering last stand monsters. </div>

The new abilities are gonna for sure contribute towards the diversity and make the game more interesting. It also wants me go all in upcoming Chaos Legion. For that reason, I have been saving every bit of DEC I can get so that I can sell it latter for the new packs. I wanted to sell all my DEC for in-game credits but since DEC contributes towards the SPS drop to I am hodling it untill Chaos Legions are revealed. Eventually, I am(we are) gonna have to make a choice between DEC hodling and Chaos Legion. </div>


<div class="text-justify"> Price of DEC has been holding steady above $7 per 1000 dec (exploding yesterday's bears), and it will hold steady hopefully unless the Chaos Legions are introduced and people will rush to dumping dumping dec to get a hold of new packs.</div>

**To me its a simple choice, Chaos Legions are gonna be limited so I would go for them as much as I can, where as DEC for SPS can wait. What you think?**
