#### Hello Splinternerds

So two days ago splinterlands finally announced the sale of much awaited multi-element card; Zyriel. Zyriel will be unleashed on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at 4:00 PM ET / 20:00 UTC via a public sale that will last for 30 days. 


#### Sale
Only 15,000 single-BCX Zyriel cards will ever be minted/available for sale out of which 4% will be gold foil ones. Buyers could buy a maximum of 25 Zyriel in a single transaction and are guaranteed to receive at least one gold foil for 25 Zyreil purchased in a single transaction.

#### Stats
Zyriel will be the first of it kind being a dual element monster i.e. Life and Death. Costing 7 mana, Zyriel will is going to be a ranged monster with an attack of 5 at maxed level. It will start with health of 4, reaching 5 at maxed level. And the speed remains at 2 throughout.
Zyriel will start with Weapons Training and Life Leach abilities. At level 2 it gets Devine Shield and Rust ability at level 3.

#### Price
Offer price of Zyriel is 80,000 Dec/Credits. This can be discounted by 50% by using vouchers at the rate of $0.25 per voucher. So one bcx Zyriel will cost 40,000 Dec and 160 Vouchers. DEC-B can't be used for this purchase.


#### Analysis
- Stats wise I would rate Zyriel an average or may be above average legendary. This guy with a speed of 2 and attack of 5 can be a real asset in Reverse Speed or Aim True rulesets. Life Leach and Devine Shield will compensate for Return Fire a bit. Also the Rust ability is an added advantage. It is the first tradeable card with Weapons Training ability and would be interesting to watch it in play with other no attacks.
 
- Zyriel will give bonus RP when used with Life or Death splinters. And on Lands Zyriel's dual nature will also come in handy allowing him to adopt for which ever terrain gives the highest bonus. These factors gives Zyriel utility like non other in the game.

- Now the final aspect is pricing. As per current Dec and Vouchers price feed, maxed Zyriel will cost around $580 which is quite frankly too much for a card to this stature. In comparison to the market price of other Promo in the same class(excluding Lux Vega), Zyriel price is way too high. Yes it offers extra utility, flexibility and bonus RP...but are these things worth paying the extra dollars?

- Purchases in 25 batches are going to be more profitable as they guarantee a gold foil. So many buyers are going to be tempted to mint 25 Bcx Zyriel in a single go in contrast to 11 Bcx required for having a maxed out version. This will certainly boost the sale count but also put extra burden on buyer's pocket.

- Since Zyriel marks the onset of multiple element monster so we can expect more of its kind down the line, which is going to be way intersting.

#### Bottom Line
Being the first tradeable having Weapons Training ability along with, extra utility, increased flexibility and bonus RP are the main selling points of Zyriel. Not to mention the sentimental value from a collector's point of view.

Ultimately its up to the buyer to decide whether these selling points are worth that much. Personally I would like to sit this one out... God it is so hard avoiding all the Fomo. I would rather wait and watch how Zyriel's market develops, as more multielement cards make their way into splinterlands. Stats wise I am sure this guys doesn't secure a position in my priority list for now. But that's just me...
