La arquitectura es la expresi贸n de lo que el hombre ha querido crear, motivado por aspectos pol铆ticos, econ贸micos, ambientales y socioculturales. En el 谩mbito cultural, podemos observar que por amor a Dios, y por devoci贸n a la Madre Mar铆a o a los santos pueden erigirse los m谩s bellos templos religiosos o monumentos arquitect贸nicos, que m谩s all谩 de formar parte de la infraestructura de una ciudad, son un medio f铆sico para promover la meditaci贸n, socializaci贸n y desarrollo de valores para una mejor sociedad.
En el marco del D铆a de la Divina Pastora celebrado cada 14 de enero en Venezuela, me uno a la celebraci贸n de este d铆a especial, enalteciendo el fervor mariano de la iglesia cat贸lica y resaltando la manera como este se relaciona con la arquitectura regional, qu茅 mejor forma de hacerlo que publicando a trav茅s de la comunidad [Architectute+Design](https://hive.blog/trending/hive-178708), para mostrar al mundo esta realidad.

<h3>Greetings dear community</h3>
Architecture is the expression of what man has wanted to create, motivated by political, economic, environmental and socio-cultural aspects. In the cultural field, we can observe that for love of God, and devotion to Mother Mary or the saints, the most beautiful religious temples or architectural monuments can be erected, which beyond being part of the infrastructure of a city, are a physical means to promote meditation, socialization and development of values for a better society.

In the framework of the Divine Shepherdess Day celebrated every January 14 in Venezuela, I join the celebration of this special day, extolling the Marian fervor of the Catholic Church and highlighting how this relates to the regional architecture, what better way to do it than publishing through the [Architectute+Design](https://hive.blog/trending/hive-178708) community, to show the world this reality.

<h2>Te presento 2 de las obras arquitect贸nicas que m谩s me gustan en el recorrido que hoy realiza la Imagen de la Divina Pastora: </h2>
<h3>1- Bas铆lica Menor Santa Rosa de Lima: </h3>
Es el punto de partida del recorrido y la raz贸n es porque este templo es el hogar de la Virgen Mar铆a en la advocaci贸n de la Divina Pastora. Se ubica en la parroquia Santa Rosa, al este de Barquisimeto, Estado Lara, Venezuela. Por ser un sitio muy concurrido para los feligreses, es una de las iglesias que m谩s disfruta de actividades de mantenimiento en sus fachadas y recubrimientos interiores. El templo de Santa Rosa es muy querido por los barquisimetanos.

<h2>I present to you 2 of the architectural works that I like the most in the route that today makes the Image of the Divina Pastora: </h2>
<h3>1- Santa Rosa de Lima Minor Basilica: </h3>
It is the starting point of the tour and the reason is because this temple is the home of the Virgin Mary in the invocation of the Divine Shepherdess. It is located in the Santa Rosa parish, east of Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela. Because it is a very busy place for the parishioners, it is one of the churches that most enjoys maintenance activities on its facades and interior coverings. The temple of Santa Rosa is very loved by the people of Barquisimeto.

Presenta una arquitectura tipo cl谩sica, es una bas铆lica. Se desconoce su per铆odo original de construcci贸n pero se ubica en el siglo XVII. Se fue deteriorando por movimientos tel煤ricos hasta que se derrumb贸 en 1812 por un fuerte terremoto. Recordemos que para aquella 茅poca no exist铆an normas sismorresistentes para edificaciones; la historia cuenta que solo la imagen de la Divina Pastora permaneci贸 intacta. Fue levantada nuevamente, inaugur谩ndose en el a帽o 1864. Esta iglesia es visitada por muchos venezolanos e inclusive extranjeros durante todo el a帽o.

It presents a classic type architecture, it is a basilica. Its original period of construction is unknown but it is located in the seventeenth century. It deteriorated due to telluric movements until it collapsed in 1812 due to a strong earthquake. Let's remember that at that time there were no seismic-resistant norms for buildings; history tells that only the image of the Divina Pastora remained intact. It was rebuilt and inaugurated in 1864. This church is visited by many Venezuelans and even foreigners throughout the year.

Hoy este 铆cono arquitect贸nico constituy贸 la primera parada del recorrido. Se ubica por la avenida Circunvalaci贸n Norte de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, Estado Lara, Venezuela. Es uno de los monumentos m谩s recientes de la ciudad. Se inaugur贸 en el a帽o 2016, con la finalidad de simbolizar el fervor a la Divina Pastora, patrona de la ciudad.

Today this architectural icon constituted the first stop of the tour. It is located on the Circunvalaci贸n Norte Avenue in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela. It is one of the most recent monuments of the city. It was inaugurated in 2016, with the purpose of symbolizing the fervor to the Divina Pastora, patron saint of the city.

Adem谩s de ser el monumento mariano m谩s alto en el mundo, es visitable verticalmente, permitiendo conocer su estructura y configuraci贸n. Tiene la ventaja que fue emplazado en una colina muy particular, que le permite ser visto desde numerosos puntos de los Estados Lara y Yaracuy, provocando emociones ver el monumento a lo lejos con la imagen tan clara y definida de la Divina Pastora.

Besides being the tallest Marian monument in the world, it can be visited vertically, allowing to know its structure and configuration. It has the advantage of being located on a very particular hill, which allows it to be seen from many points of the states of Lara and Yaracuy, causing emotions to see the monument in the distance with such a clear and defined image of the Divina Pastora.

Incluye una escultura al construir la figura de la Divina Pastora y el ni帽o Jes煤s, a trav茅s de la cuidadosa configuraci贸n de tubos de aluminio cil铆ndricos suspendidos por guayas de acero inoxidable desde una estructura superior, dando lugar a la imagen de una manera limpia, que facilita su movimiento por acci贸n del viento, siendo esta tipolog铆a caracter铆stica del arte cin茅tico, promovido por el reconocido maestro Jes煤s Soto, fallecido casualmente un 14 de enero (2005).
