My thoughts on new changes in splinterlands rewards system

Oh well, I am not sure what I am going to write because I am not so happy from this new reward system changes. 

I just completed my quest and currently while writing this post I am exactly feeling like this.

I had a good debate with my friends over these changes and we ended up saying like we will see how it goes. So When today they implied reward system changes  I had not played my quest yet and I was eager to see what would happen. 

So this has happened :P XD

I supposed to claim 14 reward cards in Diamond3 as my current league is diamond 3. But I claimed ``10 Legendary potions`` and yes 2 epic ``Manticore`` saved my day.  Then I regretted a lot and I thought I should have completed my quest before these changes as I only needed one more battle to complete my quest. But I am lazy being I stopped playing quest and went to do other things. I could have saved at least one day anyways now we are going to get same rewards daily so there is that. 

These changes were necessary as they wanted to make changes in the reward system. Well, things should be dynamic no one likes static things. There must be ongoing growth so it makes things more interesting.  In order to scale up the growth of the game, they have implied these new changes which currently I am not liking at all. I don't know about big investors but I am investor too and as an investor, it made me curious oh man are we going to get all these?

I don't see anything interesting getting potions in quest rewards. people can't transfer their potions they can't sell. Ok, I'll admit big investors buy packs in bulk and it might be helpful for them in opening packs. But for me, these potions are only valuable in case I use them for quest rewards. I never bought potions for quest rewards and now I am forced to do that. I rarely buy packs I don't want o waste my money on buying packs I'd rather prefer to upgrade my important summoners, monster individually. And I've been doing this recently.


Splinterlands is claiming that their main goal is to increase the interest of the player in the game. But as a player, I am not so happy with the new reward system so it might decrease my interest? who knows?

I guess I shouldn't complain too much. It would be too early to say anything like that. Let's hope for the best as everything happens for a reason. I still love you splinterlands and you are the only game I am playing.  Oh no, I am playing holy bread as well. I want to give this game a few days after I will be writing a comparison of holy bread and splinterlands. XD. Well, comparison with splinterlands sounds pretty unfair. Since holy bread is another game on steem blockchain s we should welcome it with an open heart. ;)

New monsters are coming out and they have their own unique abilities now what should we upgrade and what shouldn't?

I thought the same but if you think a little more its actually a good thing.  Just let the potions auto use, you will have more chance of gold/epic so more value and the card scarcity goes up then so does value

Girl. No worries. We all get these type of feels when something changes. Change is a weird monkey. We need it, it almost ALWAYS ends up being for the best, but we fight it. (That was just general life thoughts.)

In the long run, this will help with sustainability when we grow larger. A lot of things have changed from the beginning. Each one being met with outright anger and fit throwing (by some)... but all have since been forgotten as things *work out*. 

I also never bought potions really, as I prefered using my DEC for other things. And maybe in the future potions will be transferable. I gots no idea. The math side of things is hardcore, but we have the best working on it making it as fair and balanced as possible. I believe this. 🥰
