 **사회자** : 요즘 애플 주식이 굉장히 이슈가 되고 있습니다. 선생님께서는 애플에 45조 정도가 되는 지분이 있으신데 애플에 대해 얼마나 자주 확인하시나요? 많은 사람들이 요즘 애플이 신제품을 내고있지 않아서 의견이 많습니다. **워렌 버핏** : 음 만약 계속해서 확인해야하는 회사라면 그 지분을 갖고 있으면 안됩니다. **사회자** : 네..? **워렌 버핏** : 당연하죠. 만약 옥수수 농장을 샀다고 칩시다. 자주 가서 옥수수가 얼마나 자랐나 확인해보기도 하고 옥수수 가격 변동에 대해 예민해지는거랑 같은거죠. 저는 1980년에 다른 사람이 관리해주는 농장을 산게 있는데요 여태까지 딱 한번 가봤습니다. 제가 가서 옥수수를 노려보고 있는다고 옥수수가 더 빨리 자라지 않아요. 가서 주문을 외운다고 더 잘 자라지도 않구요. 어차피 어떤 해에는 가격이 좋고 어떤 해에는 가격이 낮아질 수 도 있어요. 걱정한다고 하나도 달라지는게 없습니다. 저는 경제 전망 같은거는 신경 안써요. 그저 경작물을 순환해야 될때인가 정도만 생각하고 수익률이 점점 더 좋아지기를 바래요. 다행히 그래 왔구요. 장기투자는 그런거에요. 탄탄한 브랜드로 세워진 잘 나가는 가게에 투자를 한다고 하면 매일 찾아가서 몇명이 왔는지 일일이 세보지 않지요. 금리가 올라서 매출이 줄진 않을까 염려하고 살지 않구요. 생각해보세요. 20년간 갖고 있을 장기투자라면 1년이 365일이니깐 총 7300일인데 ㅋㅋ 만약 매일 확인해 봐야하는 회사라면 사지 말아야해요.
