## Quince Mil Años Después de Perseo
##
Han pasado más de quince mil años desde que la nave Perseo descendió en un hostil planeta que se convirtió en la última esperanza de la humanidad, al menos eso fue hasta que unos catorce mil años después se descubrió que muy distante del donde se estableció Perseo, otra colonia humana había prosperado, para luego ser abandonada, Andrómeda, cuyos descendientes emprendieron un viaje sin destino, en dirección al Brazo de Norma y de ahí a la región no visible de la galaxia.

Ahora, un nuevo descubrimiento, deja la duda sobre si habrán prosperado más colonias humanas que aun no se hayan descubierto. Gracias a la inexplicable aparición de un puente Einstein-Rosen, en un planeta hoy colonizado por los humanos, se abrió una ruta a la Galaxia de Bernard y en ella se encontró una nave colonizadora cuyo cargamento de embriones había sido tomado por alguna entidad, posiblemente no humana.

Mucho ha pasado desde que Perseo fue fundada, hoy, ya no es el más importante de los planetas colonizados, los descendientes de aquellos primeros diez mil niños, se han multiplicado en cientos de miles de millones y han poblado treinta ocho mundos, además de varias decenas de miles de estaciones espaciales.

Perseo es hoy una reliquia dentro de los mundos poblados, sólo una pequeña franja de su superficie es habitable. A causa del acoplamiento orbital, una de sus caras siempre mira a su estrella y en ella las temperaturas son insoportablemente altas, mientras que en la otra cara las temperaturas son inferiores a los doscientos Kelvin, creando una gruesa capa de hielo sobre su océano. 

A causa de esta dicotomía, la única región del planeta con un clima moderadamente tolerable es la línea de crepúsculo, una franja entre ambas caras donde se vive un permanente anochecer, en el que las temperaturas son similares a las de una región tropical, con fuertes ráfagas de vientos cálidos provenientes del lado diurno del planeta y son contrarrestadas por las de aire frio que soplan desde la cara nocturna.

Perseo es el menos poblado de los planetas colonizados, sólo quince ciudades y una población de treinta y dos millones de habitantes, lo hace un mundo casi despoblado. Hoy es fundamentalmente un sitio de peregrinación, por su atractivo histórico y quienes ahí habitan viven principalmente del turismo.

Desde las costas de Perseo I, su primera ciudad, situada justo donde descendió la nave Perseo y se fundó la primera colonia, situada en una delgada franja de tierra, en una dirección se pueden ver las tormentas eléctricas que asolan la cara iluminada del planeta mientras las playas del lado opuesto son visitadas por los icebergs provenientes de la capa de hielo del lado oscuro.

Hoy Perseo es lo más parecido que tiene la humanidad a un origen, es el mundo que todos reconocen como el sitio donde todo inició. La Tierra es ya un mundo prohibido y olvidado, un mundo que primero dio la espalda a sus habitantes, obligándolos a huir, en desesperadas misiones de colonización, que condujeron a la muerte de todos los que la conocieron. Para después dar acogida a una errante raza alienígena, que tras perder su mundo materno, encontró en el antiguo mundo de origen de la humanidad, un refugio en el que prosperar.

## Fifteen Thousand Years After Perseus

More than fifteen thousand years have passed since the Perseus spacecraft descended on a hostile planet that became humanity's last hope, at least that was until about fourteen thousand years later it was discovered that far distant from where Perseus was established, another human colony had prospered, and then was abandoned, Andromeda, whose descendants undertook a journey without destination, in the direction of Norma's Arm and from there to the non-visible region of the galaxy.

Now, a new discovery leaves doubt as to whether more human colonies that have not yet been discovered will have prospered. Thanks to the inexplicable appearance of an Einstein-Rosen bridge, on a planet now colonized by humans, a route was opened to Bernard's Galaxy and a colonizing ship was found there, whose cargo of embryos had been taken by some entity, possibly not human.

Much has happened since Perseus was founded, today, it is no longer the most important of the colonized planets, the descendants of those first ten thousand children, have multiplied into hundreds of billions and have populated thirty-eight worlds, in addition to several tens of thousands of space stations.

Perseus is today a relic within the populated worlds, only a small fringe of its surface is habitable. Because of the orbital coupling, one of its faces always looks at its star and in it the temperatures are unbearably high, while in the other face the temperatures are lower than two hundred Kelvin, creating a thick layer of ice on its ocean. 

Because of this dichotomy, the only region of the planet with a moderately tolerable climate is the twilight line, a strip between both faces where one lives a permanent dusk, in which the temperatures are similar to those of a tropical region, with strong gusts of warm winds coming from the diurnal side of the planet and are counteracted by the cold air gusts blowing from the night face.

Perseus is the least populated of the colonized planets, only fifteen cities and a population of thirty-two million, making it an almost unpopulated world. Today it is fundamentally a place of pilgrimage, for its historical attraction and those who live there live mainly from tourism.

From the shores of Perseus I, its first city, located just where the Perseus spacecraft descended and the first colony was founded, located on a thin strip of land, in one direction you can see the thunderstorms ravaging the illuminated face of the planet while the beaches on the opposite side are visited by icebergs coming from the dark side ice sheet.

Today Perseus is the closest thing that humanity has to an origin, it is the world that everyone recognizes as the place where everything began. The Earth is now a forbidden and forgotten world, a world that first turned its back on its inhabitants, forcing them to flee, in desperate colonization missions that led to the death of all who knew it. Then to host a wandering alien race, which after losing its maternal world, found in the ancient world of origin of humanity, a refuge in which to thrive.

su origen es de algún glacial
altera en este sitio el ambiente, 
porque ahora está fuera de lugar, 
lo que a la vez genera otras consecuencias 
lamentables, y tristes,

# Looking for Santa Claus.
#
Daniel and Mario went to visit their grandparents in Finland. They were so anxious because they wanted to visit Santa's house because they heard their grandparents that Santa lived in Finland.
But when they arrived it was not what they had dreamed of, it was summer and there was no snow, no Christmas decorations, no lights... The children felt disappointed, because they felt that their grandparents had lied to them, because in a place full of flowers, Santa Claus could not live.
One day, while the grandparents slept, the children escaped and went to look for Santa's house. Fortunately, a neighbor recognized them and took them to their grandparents.
When they arrived home, their grandparents were worried about the children, they saw and hugged them, they thanked their neighbor for bringing their grandsons safe and sound.
Daniel and Mario talked with their grandparents and told them why they were so sad and disappointed.
Then, the grandparents decided to show the children that in Finland if Santa lived and that although it was summer if there were cold areas and that Santa's house was there.
Everyone prepared for an adventurous day and together they followed the route to find Santa Claus, they got on a boat and confirmed that yes, despite being summer there was ice, it was cold and Santa Claus lived, they spent about huge ice floes

They arrived in Rovaniemi, where Santa Claus lives, where it was also summer, but the weather was cool, and there was a Christmas atmosphere, where there were pictures of Santa Claus everywhere, all the inhabitants of Rovaniemi had seen and even talked with Dad Noel.
Daniel and Mario, despite not seeing this great fat man with a white beard in person, were happy because they knew that their grandparents had not lied to them and in Finland the Father of Christmas lived.
The children had an excellent vacation!

I imagine Antarctica covered with ice, where there are no inhabitants other than penguins, you can come there to see the greatness of icebergs, but it is not possible to live. There is ice and ice water around.
