Las naves humanas se aproximaron realizando un descenso en espiral que las llevó a una región del océano un poco alejada de la costa, eran dos transbordadores, que ingresaron a la atmósfera con el propósito de ofrecer imágenes más detalladas del planeta y sus pobladores, tomar muestras de los gases atmosfericos y de ser posible establecer comunicación con las dos especies inteligentes que convivían en él.

Se aproximaron a la costa para recorrer el continente y sobrevolar algunas poblaciones nativas, las construcciones eran fundamentalmente edificaciones cónicas de baja altura, conectadas por una red de lo que parecían ser los rieles de algún tipo de transporte, por lo que los sensores mostraban, los edificios se internaban bajo la tierra, por lo que supusieron que las viviendas estaban en el subsuelo, pero no parecía haber redes de túneles que permitieran el transito de los pobladores bajo la superficie, por lo que, el que las calles estuviesen vacías, les hizo pensar que tal vez eran de hábitos nocturnos, o simplemente se ocultaban ante la visita de extraños venidos del espacio.

Al norte del continente se aproximaron al poblado de la otra raza inteligente que habitaba el planeta, para su sorpresa los extraños individuos con apariencia antropomorfa, parecieron inalterados por su presencia, simplemente volteaban a ver las naves y continuaban en sus asuntos, estuvieron largo rato detenidos sobre el poblado viéndolos lanzarse al lago para regresar con extrañas criaturas acuáticas que directamente llevaban al recinto circular que estaba en medio del poblado y que supusieron era algún tipo de templo, parecía una tarea comunitaria para la pequeña población, sumergirse a extraer estos pequeño animales con forma de artrópodos del lago.

No hubo mayor variación en su comportamiento durante aproximadamente una hora, después de la cual parecieron formarse ordenadamente a ver las naves como si estuviesen esperando algo de ellas. Por momentos muchos en el puente de mando de ambas naves sintieron la extraña sensación de que los pobladores querían que descendieran, la sensación de ser bienvenidos y esperados con cierta ansia.

Alí Norton, capitán de la primera nave solicitó comunicarse por una línea privada con la capitán de la segunda nave.

-Miriam, ¿qué crees?, ¿debemos descender?- preguntó intrigado por el sorpresivo deseo que tenía de descender.

Después de esto, las naves viraron y emprendieron camino a una de las poblaciones más próximas de la otra raza, con la esperanza de observar su comportamiento durante la noche.

Mientras tanto en el poblado, las criaturas continuaron con su rutina, sin prestar mayor importancia a los sucedido

My first imagination is about a planet in space with the planet inhabited, it appears buildings towering above the clouds. Two spacecraft are crossing the planet. In the distance, there is a scattering of water like the ocean separating the plains of the planet.
