## Agua

Cuando los descendientes de Perseo se aventuraron a colonizar otros planetas, se dieron cuenta rápidamente que ni los metales preciosos, ni los hidrocarburos, ni ningún otro recurso mineral, era el bien más preciado que se podría tener en cualquier mundo colonizado, al final de cuentas en el espacio hay un sinfín de mundos con cantidades inimaginables de cualquiera de ellos.

Por el contrario, el agua era el recurso más valorado, no por que fuera escasa, pues puede hallarse con relativa facilidad, lo era por ser indispensable para la vida, sin ella, un planeta por más adecuado que pudiese ser, respecto a la cantidad de radiación recibida, temperatura, campo magnético entre otras, carecía de condiciones para su habitabilidad.

En un principio, muchos de los planetas colonizados, poseían temperaturas superficiales por debajo del punto de congelación, como Cerbero y Belerofonte, pero luego al ser menos imperiosa la búsqueda de nuevos destinos, la selección de planetas se fue ajustando más a la condición de tener agua líquida en su superficie. Pero siempre, fuese en un casquete helado, en grandes océanos o el caso límite de planetas océanos, en los que no existía tierra emergida, el agua siempre fue un requisito mínimo indispensable para que un planeta fuese siquiera tomado en cuenta para terraformación.

Incluso en algunos casos, cuando el planeta a ser terraformado, presentaba condiciones casi idóneas para su habitabilidad, pero el agua cubría menos del treinta por ciento de su superficie, fueron transportados cometas, para bombardearlo de forma controlada, hasta que la porción de agua fuera de al menos dos tercios de la superficie, aun cuando esto generara un retroceso en el proceso de terraformación.

Los grandes océanos eran el hogar de la mayor parte de los organismos provenientes de la Tierra, entre ellos el fitoplancton, el principal generador de oxígeno y uno de los primeros organismos introducidos en un planeta en terraformación, para iniciar la adecuación de la mezcla de gases atmosféricos y hacerlos respirables por el resto de las formas de vida.

Sólo en el caso de que un planeta poseyera importantes y valiosos recursos minerales, como el iridio y el paladio, en cantidades absurdamente grades, aun sin poseer agua, podría ser considerado para su colonización, pero sólo con fines mineros y su población sería de tipo itinerante, tal era la importancia que le dieron al agua los descendientes de Perseo.

When Perseus' descendants ventured to colonize other planets, they quickly realized that neither precious metals, nor hydrocarbons, nor any other mineral resource, was the most precious good one could have in any colonized world, at the end of the day in space there are countless worlds with unimaginable quantities of any of them.

But always, be it in an icy cap, in large oceans or the borderline case of planets or oceans, in which there was no land emerged, water was always a minimum indispensable requirement for a planet to be even taken into account for terraforming.

Even in some cases, when the planet to be terraformed presented almost ideal conditions for its habitability, but the water covered less than thirty percent of its surface, comets were transported to bombard it in a controlled way, until the portion of water was at least two thirds of the surface, even when this generated a regression in the terraformation process.

The great oceans were home to most of the organisms coming from the Earth, among them phytoplankton, the main generator of oxygen and one of the first organisms introduced on a planet in terraformation, to initiate the adaptation of the mixture of atmospheric gases and make them breathable for the rest of life forms.

Only if a planet possessed important and valuable mineral resources, such as iridium and palladium, in absurdly large quantities, even without possessing water, could it be considered for colonization, but only for mining purposes and its population would be itinerant, was the importance given to water by the descendants of Perseus.

# The waterfall of miracles.
#
Once upon a time there was a family that lived in the forest, they loved nature to the extreme, but Mr. Daniel got sick and they had to move to the city.
The family had months in the city and were not happy, despite having a garden with many plants and flowers, but there were no animal sounds, no bird songs, there was no sound of the river, nor were there huge fruit trees for enjoy during the day, in the night sky the stars shone little, the city lights overshadowed nature.
Mr. Daniel was getting worse, his illness was advancing strongly, doctors could not find a cure and were surprised by his state of health.
Time was progressing and Mr. Daniel was very sick and depressed. A new doctor took the case and changed all the measures and suggestions taken by the old doctors, suspended his medications and asked him to return to his forest.
Mr. Daniel and his family were so happy, they did not hesitate for a second to comply with what the new doctor ordered.
Since they could not travel by car for Mr. Daniel's delicate health, they hired a helicopter and asked the new doctor to accompany them.
During the trip Mr. Daniel looked happy, the excitement of returning to the forest quickly improved him, They decided then to take walks throughout the forest, to make Mr. Daniel remember all the immensity of his beloved forest.
They flew over the paths full of flowers, trees, saw animals enjoy their habitat with tranquility and security of being in their home, saw the mighty imposing and majestic river, decided to take the doctor to know the huge waterfall where the family made the decision years ago moving to the forest.

The view was great, They decided to walk down and touch the water so pure, but something miraculous happened Mr. Daniel walked alone, with such agility and looked healthier and stronger, everyone was surprised, the forest healthy to Daniel,
Never again the family moved away from the forest and the doctor whenever he could visited his new friends, and since that day the waterfall was known as the waterfall of miracles.

The pic gives me the idea of human life. Human instinct to touch the sky. During his efforts he encounter difficult path just as it appears in the pic. Only those people gets the position who pass these difficulties. @xpilar
