## Revelaciones

Lamentaba no poder sentir la fría brisa sobre su rostro, el viento agitaba rítmicamente las copas de los tupidos árboles, pronto empezaría a caer la noche, entre las montañas se podía ver a Megara, una de las lunas de Heracles, que se elevaba por el oriente.

Estaba nuevamente aquí, frente al lago, en breve iniciaría con su nueva obra, sabía que pronto estarían tras él, ya se habían acercado lo suficiente como para encontrarlo, debía trabajar rápido, esta sería su mayor obra, por la que sería recordado.

El lago le traía recuerdos de su renacimiento, de cuando, entre el caos de la masacre sucedida, descubrió la belleza del caos, de construir con la destrucción. Al igual que entonces, estaba enfundado en el traje de camuflaje, lo único que le quedaba de aquel memorable momento en Juno, la luna de Cefeo, el traje y el aprendizaje de su experiencia.

Hace ya quince años, a su llegada a Heracles, quedó fascinado con sus bosques y los impresionantes colores de sus árboles, era muy diferente a todo lo que había visto antes, en cualquiera de los lugares donde estuvo, en aquellos bosques todo era de un monótono verde y casi toda la vegetación era igual. En cambio, aquí, visto desde la ventanilla de la cápsula de descenso, parecía una gigantesca cobija hecha con parches multicolores; rosa, lavanda, verde, amarillo, blanco, rojo y ámbar; arboles multicolores se extendían hasta donde podía mirar. Heracles era justo lo que había visto en aquel kiosco de turismo, antes de su salida de Tetis.

―¿Me va a explicar ahora de que va todo esto? ―preguntó Alberto, tomando su anotador y con un gesto, proyectando frente a ellos, las fotografías de tres individuos ―. Estos son los que me mando a investigar. Pero aun no entiendo que tienen que ver estas personas con esto.

―Estoy convencido de que hemos abordado esto desde un enfoque equivocado ―respondió Oliver ―.  Háblame un poco de ellos.

―Bien para empezar, parece que los tres se han mantenido alejados de la vida laboral, los tres parecen estar viviendo de su pensión como veteranos de guerra. Sólo de él tenemos imágenes recientes―dijo, señalando la primera de las fotografías―. Su nombre es Ludwig Pereira, vive en Corinto, al norte del continente, su ubicación fue confirmada ya, es granjero y no se ha movido de su rancho en dos semanas, más que a realizar compras en la ciudad.

―¿El de la segunda imagen quien es? ―preguntó Oliver, con interés.

―Su nombre es Ulises Rivera, no sabemos mucho de él, no hay un domicilio registrado a su nombre, llegó aquí hace quince años, proveniente de Cefeo, al igual que los otros dos ―explicó Alberto, mientras proyectaba una ficha de datos al lado de la imagen del individuo ―. Llegó al espacio puerto y prácticamente desapareció después de eso, sabemos que vive en Polaris, por el sus transacciones, siempre realiza compras en la zona norte y con regularidad paga en el transbordador, para cruzar el canal, así que es de suponer que vive en alguna parte de la zona sur, como casi todo el mundo.

―¿Que sabes de su vida antes de venir a Heracles? ―preguntó Oliver.

―Al igual que los otros tres, es veterano de la guerra de Cefeo y estuvo internado con problemas psiquiátricos, en su caso, en el hospital de Tetis ― respondió Alberto, indiferente.

―Antes de eso, su vida antes de la guerra ―insistió Oliver.

―A sí claro, se me olvidaba, al igual que Lombard es un compatriota suyo, también es de Perseo, allá vivió en su niñez y parte de la adolescencia, luego se mudó a Apolo, cuando sus padres murieron, donde vivió con un tío, que era un militar retirado, hasta que él mismo se alistó en el ejército, cinco años después fue enviado a combatir en Cefeo.

―¿Encontraste alguna relación entre él y Lombard? ―continuó Oliver.

―Aparentemente ninguna, aparte de provenir ambos de Perseo y haber estudiado en la misma academia ―respondió Alberto.

―Aguarda, ¿qué estudió Pereira en la academia?

―Arte, igual que Lombard, pero no concluyó sus estudios, a causa de la muerte de sus padres ―respondió Alberto, intrigado por el interés de Oliver ―. Tal vez conoció allí a Lombard, es lo único que se me ocurre.

―¡Él es a quien buscamos! ―exclamó Oliver ―rápido contacta a los de vigilancia, quiero que reprogramen los drones para que lo sigan él, y pide que nos espere una nave, para ir a detenerlo, debemos interrogarlo.

―¡Pero no tenemos idea de donde está!, ¿cómo piensa que haremos eso? ―dijo Alberto sorprendido.

―¿No lo has notado?, ¿no te parece haberlo visto antes? ―pregunto Oliver, con un gesto malicioso en su rostro.

―No es Lombard, ¿a quién se parece? ― preguntó, intrigado.

―¡Es el vecino de Lombard, él de las flores! ―exclamó Oliver, poniéndose de pie bruscamente y tomando su sobretodo del escritorio ―. Ve rápido a avisar a los de vigilancia y pide el transporte.

## Revelations

He regretted not being able to feel the cold breeze on his face, the wind rythmically shook the tops of the dense trees, soon night would begin to fall, between the mountains one could see Megara, one of Heracles' moons, rising from the east.

Heracles was just what he had seen in that tourist kiosk before his departure from Tetis.

-Are you going to explain to me now what this is all about? -asked Alberto, taking his notebook and with a gesture, projecting in front of them, the photographs of three individuals -. These are the ones he sent me to investigate. But I still don't understand what these people have to do with this.

-I am convinced that we have approached this with the wrong approach, - replied Oliver -.  Tell me a little about them.

-Well for starters, it seems that the three of them have stayed away from working life, the three of them seem to be living off their pension as war veterans. Only of him do we have recent images, - he said, pointing to the first of the photographs -. His name is Ludwig Pereira, he lives in Corinth, in the north of the continent, his location has already been confirmed, he is a farmer and has not moved from his ranch in two weeks, but to shop in the city.

-Before that, his life before the war, -insisted Oliver.

-Of course, I forgot, like Lombard and you, he is also from Perseus, there he lived in his childhood and part of his adolescence, then he moved to Apollo, when his parents died, where he lived with an uncle, who was a retired soldier, until he himself enlisted in the army, five years later he was sent to fight in Cepheus.

-Did you find any connection between him and Lombard? continued Oliver.

-Wait, what did Rivera study at the academy?

-Art, like Lombard, but he did not finish his studies, because of the death of his parents, - replied Alberto, intrigued by Oliver's interest -. Maybe he met Lombard there, that's all I can think of.

-He's the one we're looking for! -exclaimed Oliver -. Quickly contact the surveillance, I want them to reprogram the drones to follow him, and asks for a ship to wait for us, to go and stop him, we must interrogate him. 

-But we have no idea where he is, how does he think we'll do that? -said Alberto surprised.

-Haven't you noticed? Don't you think you've seen him before? -Oliver asked, with a malicious gesture on his face.

-It's not Lombard, who does he look like? - he asked, intrigued.

-He's Lombard's neighbor, the one with the flowers! -exclaimed Oliver, rising abruptly and taking his overcoat from his desk. Go quickly and warn the guards and ask for transport.

Damn that sky that's totally brilliant impressive

This puts me in mind of a whole solar system existing in a series of books I have not yet published ... at present I am trying to get my NaNoWriMo writing done and keep up my publication of last month's novel, but this is so lovely I just might have to add to the month's creative load and do a short story around this... there are so many breathtaking details ... the leaves lit up from the sun getting low in the sky beyond, but still streaming through gaps between other mountain peaks in some places while leaving other areas in shadow ... so gorgeous!  Beautifully done!

My story based on your art: 

**Sapphire Sunset on Osthavi VI**

Of the 20 known Osthavi Worlds,  Osthavi VI is the one that would most remind an Earthling of Earth – blue sky, temperate climate, and far enough from its yellow hypergiant star, Ostha, so that the sky is a very Earth-like blue, although a more jewel-toned blue toward sunset than the average on Earth.

If one could take a vacation to this distant planet, and survive the much higher gravity and heavier atmosphere, no lovelier place could be visited than Lake Xpilar, one of Osthavi VI's many mountain lakes … the above postcard is the view from lakeside at sunset, the clouds heralding the presence of autumn, Osthavi VII shining like a great moon in the sky, and Ostha's golden light streaming in from behind through other mountain peaks, highlighting autumn foliage.

Imagine being there … the warm evening breeze flowing through with the golden light from behind as the silvery water plays in the shadows of the peaks and with your toes, and perhaps with an Osthavirian foot with its seven toes also enjoying the cool water near you.  The day length on Osthavi VI is 30 hours, too, so you could drink in this late afternoon scene for quite some time without any significant change except for Osthavi VII rising over head more rapidly than Ostha sets.  The Great Star, as the natives call it, always seems to linger as if the sky would not know what to do without it – it is so massive, actually, that it just takes a while before enough of it is below the horizon to create the classic “red” part of the sunset for two hours – so, this is the sapphire sunset on Osthavi VI, at Lake Xpilar.  

Lake Xpilar is much favored by the people of the regional countryside for quiet rest and meditation – it is too remote from major cities even in the space age of Osthavirian civilization for it to be a destination for the masses.  If it were on Earth, it would be inaccessible for another reason: it is roughly as high in elevation as Mt. Everest.  It is not exactly a short hike for the Osthavir either, but they have the advantage of having breathable air mixed evenly in the atmosphere all the way up to the argon layer of the atmosphere, and also relatively even temperatures are well.  In the mid-fall, it is still quite warm at the lake, but there are other considerations.  Those abundant clouds are not just up there to be lacy decoration on that sapphire sky … a pretty blue sunset like that heralds a rainy night and morning.

Weather happens on the side of Osthavirian mountains as it does on earth, and as Ostha contracts in size and triggers winter in the Osthavi worlds, the clouds begin to form, showing that all the water evaporated in the late spring, all summer, and through the early fall is about to return to the planet in the late fall, all winter, and early spring.  Storms on the Osthavi worlds are generally not violent in terms of wind, but the rain is relentless once it begins.  So, keep in mind that rain gear is essential at this time of the season.  You need the reminder now because by the time Earthlings can take luxury voyages of 50,000 light years or more, things like umbrellas and rain coats and boots and such are likely to be forgotten in the excitement.  Make a note now, so that you can get the most of your sapphire sunset at Lake Xpilar without catching cold the next morning from being soaked!

# The interruption of the wedding.

Daniel and Paola just got married, the celebration is incredible, there are many guests, the party is full of flowers, snacks, drinks, music and lots of fun, Paola dressed beautiful and Daniel very elegant, between photos and hugs the party progressed.
Until at midnight while the dance floor was full, a bright and flickering light appeared in the sky approaching them.
The object changed shape with each blink, everyone present could not believe what was happening, between screams of a UFO approaching, the uproar formed, many ran and hid, Daniel took his wife's hand and tried to run but Paola He was still, Daniel thought it was because of fear, then he noticed that Paola and several of those present were hypnotized.
The aliens approached Daniel and hypnotized him with a laser.

One day they woke up, they don't know how much time passed, but they woke up healthy, complete and saved in a great unknown forest

They got up and walked the forest was so beautiful, it was definitely paradise, the most beautiful sky they had ever seen, the pure spring water, the largest and greenest trees in the whole world.
Daniel and Paola holding hands walked without understanding what happened, after the moment of the dance floor they remembered nothing.
Little by little on the road the friends met, so they asked and questioned nobody remembered anything.
The only thing different was a number they had in their hand, serial type, none resembled another, nor did they have an equal number.
The group of people was meeting more people who were marked by the serial but did not remember anything that happened.
