In the previous month (on 2025.06.11) I [noticed](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@xplosive/automatic-renewal-of-the-hive) an automatic Hive Power delegation renewal on the lease market of the Hive Engine.

Apparently that was a bug, and actually there are only fixed term smart contracts on the second layer as they originally appear on the lease dashboard.

Recently one of my Hive Power delegations (700 Hive Power delegation) expired, and yesterday (on 2025.07.12) I had to manually [undelegate](https://hiveblocks.com/tx/6aaa3f1ac7c754100c99336fdff4dac85258fbae) it.

And it automatically disappeared from the lease dashboard of the Hive Engine before I manually undelegated it.

This 700 Hive Power delegation will expire (on the first layer) in four days, so I will be able to use that amount again in four days.

I will check the lease market of the Hive Engine again in four days, and I will decide what to do with this 700 Hive Power this time on that day.

As it is appear on the screenshot below, currently I still have an ongoing delegation too of 500 Hive Power on the lease market of the Hive Engine, and that delegation will expire on 2025.07.26.

After the expiration of that Hive Power delegation, I will do the same with that Hive Power delegation too (if it will not be automatically renewed because of a bug, of course).
