Is the value of the SPS falling down? (2021.09.21)

I had 150 SPS one or two weeks ago, the value of that collection was around $45 USD at that time. I started to be happy that the value of my SPS airdrop collection will finally reach $50 USD.

But today (on 2021.09.21) I have 164.451 SPS, and currently it worth only $36.31 USD.

The current value of the SPS is $0.221 USD. It was around $0.34 USD one or two weeks ago.

The APR is also going down. It is currently 102.79%. It was 566.15% a month ago (on 2021.08.02), when [I staked 18 SPS](https://hive.blog/hive-13323/@xplosive/today-on-2021-08-02).

Looks like the hype is ended.

What are your thoughts on this?

The APR value will continue to fall as more and more people start staking SPS.
The value also takes into account that there are millions being generated each day so it will fall. There's also not many use cases or demand for it but wait for land, card packs and so forth and demands going to go up big time again. Just in a bit of a waiting period right now.

I believe it is natural considering how much sps has been distributed to users so far. Earlier demand was higher than supply. But as now we have nearly done 1/12 of the sps airdrop day wise it seems a natural outcome.

Well the marketcap if SPS at that point in time didn't make sense since there was so much SPS coming out at that point. It's free money and I also want to get in on the Chaos packs so I don't mind staking my SPS for now.

I wouldn't worry short term judging by the increased player base.

Also I imagine the staking pool works the same as most, More TVL or total value locked =long term greater value of the token and lower APR. Do wish it  supported BSC direct wallet addresses for transfers tho, had sps stuck on pancake swap for ages because I'm too lazy to send it from my trust wallet to metamask.

That could be the case. Usually if Bitcoin (BTC) go down, then most of the cryptocurrencies are going down with it. I believed that the SPS is a little bit different, because it is related to the Splinterlands game, which is using NFT cards. But of course SPS is not NFT. I still stake all of my SPS.
