You don't have to loss hope. I am also in growing phase but i see countless possibilities of steemit in future. Just consistency is required and you'll eventually achieve your right place.

I am one of your followers and just looked through the last 20 posts and resteems you posted, a lot of then were very generic like the firehose of other content on this site. You talk about your followers, a steemit contest, and photos you've taken. These are probably the most beaten to death horses on this site. 

People here are dying for unique and interesting content. Start writing unique posts at regular intervals and the upvotes will come. Meanwhile, checkout #minnowsupport for help in growing.

Hey buddy, as a minnow and fairly new Steemit user I feel all your frustrations and also see it as somewhat of a problem. I actually made a post over the weekend kind of about this very thing.

That said what your complaining about is not unique to Steemit. Go start a Youtube channel today and you'll have the exact same frustrations. The one difference I feel is that even a Youtube with 0 followers has at least a CHANCE of their content getting liked and shared, etc where as on Steemit I do agree things get lost too easily.

You should start using beta.ChainBB.Com . I've only been using it a few days but really changes the experience and I think if more people start  using it content won't get lost. Basically the content with the newest comment rises to the top so there's more discussion, it keeps posts around for longer to be seen and the information or tags are organized in a much different and imho better way.

Hey xplosive, it takes awhile to get active followers on every social media platform. Do not fear, you are progressing at a normal rate.

A lot of people are here for some money, but the best way to gain followers is to post comments for awhile. Making blog posts won't get many views until you have 500+ followers. 

You are doing pretty well with 141 for making an account in May.

Jump into a section of something you have an interest in and comment on other's articles. Make a few blog posts a week, then once you get 300 followers make 4 to 5, then 500 followers make 10 to 15. The comments you make in other sections will make people notice you, they will click your profile and see what your blog posts are.

Would you want them to see this one? :) Maybe not!

You just have to deal with a lot of content flowing over the screen. It is hard work to be noticed and you need some luck as well. Perhaps it is better not to look at votes, steem earned and followers to much and just post the things that you like to share. You can't have it all in life. Just try to cope with it and go on with the things you like doing.
