## The newer, faster, high-tech brother of Ethereum is making moves in the market today.

Cardano, a smart contract platform akin to Ethereum, but with newer, faster technology that can scale to a far greater extent than Ethereum, has been climbing the ranks in the market today.

An open-source project started in 2015 by members of the original Ethereum developer team, Cardano attempts to address some of the limitations of the Ethereum platform. As recently as a month ago, Cardano was trading at around 20 cents USD.  It climbed to $1.15 in a few weeks before crashing, along with most of the market, down to 70 cents USD before beginning its recovery.

It is my opinion that now is a good time to add Cardano to your portfolio.  It is moving upwards with solid momentum, not artificially pumping, but simply building on solid growth.  It currently sits at around 90 cents USD with a market cap of around $28.5 billion.

If Cardano can succeed in being a smarter, faster, more efficient Ethereum, it has massive potential. Remember that a year ago, Ethereum was trading at a mere $10.  Cardano, offering similar, but better features, could be a fantastic buy at the moment.
