To the question I just posed, I guess introductions are necessary. 
Where to begin...

I came to learn about the existance of Steemit about a month ago when my dad started researching multiple crypto-currencies. Starting with Bitcoin, he experimented with trading in the markets and then came across Steemit. 
 I was sitting around watching both my dad and older brother both make thousands of $ over the past month so I decided yesterday that i too would try to use Steemit.
I started by collecting some data about Steemit. I started reading some of the blogs posted and found most of them very interesting and helpful in answering some of the question I had relating to the validity of Steemit. I had been weary at first thinking that it was just another blogging platform, whereby it makes you think you are making money but in reality you are just wasting your time... Then my brother drew some of his post money... I was amazed! After seeing 2 of his posts and the rewards they reaped I was inspired to start "Steeming".

About me:
I'm 16 living in South Africa.
I'm a huge gamer, I play games such as League of legends, Dota 2, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty (most of them)  and many more.
I am an anime fanatic, I love drawing anime and watching it, I feel that the anime community isn't as big as it should be and would like to try to fix that. anime doesn't get enough recognition as an art form either, many people know it just as "Chinese cartoons" whereas anime is actually a Japanese cartoon, but its not like a simple cartoon, it has the same visual appeal as cartoons but has deep and intricate plots and sub plots, in my opinion most anime story lines are better than some of the best series I've seen. Anime producers also make "anime movies" which are better than most animated movies. 
On the topic of anime and gaming i recently went to a mall in which the South African Dota 2 Gigabyte Preliminary rounds where being hosted and they  had some of the best cosplay that I've ever seen( I would place pictures but i didn't have a camera with me that day)
Hobbies of mine include drawing, fishing, cooking, and online gaming.

I have high hopes for Steemit and might draw some Steemit Fan art and put it in future posts.
My main focus is on making anime and game related content that will hopefully reach out and grasp some attention.
