THINGS I HAVE LEARNT ON STEEMIT #3 SETTING GOALS.

Setting goals was not something that I did very often in my life before I joined steemit. In fact I did not set goals at all for my life and I must say that I believe that there were things that I was not able to achieve because I did not set goals to achieve them.

This principle of setting goals that I just mentioned is something that has work for me on steemit and it is even on steemit that I started learning how to set goals. 

I joined steemit last year June and I set a goal of achieving 500 steem power by the end of the year. I started working towards achieving it,  posting regularly and commenting on other people's post a lot and I got rewarded. And by the end of the year, I was able to achieve the 500 steem power target. 

I even got to achieve more than the 500 steem power by the end of the year. The surge in the cryptocurrency market price towards the end of the year helped me to exceed my goal of 500 steem power by the end of the year. 

At this period the price of one sbd was trading close to $15 and so I was able to covert some sbd's to steem power and this took me passed the 500 steem power. 

***Indeed goal setting is one of the attributes of succeeding in life.***

I now have close to 1500 steem power and I have set a goal to reach 1600 steem power by the end of the year.

Best wishes for the 1600!

I have around 920 SP +570 liquid SBD

If I exchanged the 570SBD right now for SP, I would get around 740 SP, making it 1660SP, BUT I prefer patience and keep my SBD until a bull market comes in so that I can multiply the SBD instantly. My gut is telling me I should wait for that to then leap higher when the time has come, also now that the massive tribesteemup delegation was cancelled and my post payouts won't allow me to accumulate much more as of yet.

Yes, it was, tribesteemup is still there, but the voting power is much lower now. With the current prices, the entire curation vote added up to about 6.50$, while now it is about 0.80$. Better than nothing! The reasons as to why the delegation has been cancelled is unknown.
