夜空を見上げれば
満天の星の中に一等星が輝いていた
鋭くも温かい光を放ち
無数の星がそれを取り囲む
一等星も　実は地球から
はるか彼方にあるのだ
遠い昔の光を受け取り
私はそっと　願いを込める

I looked up at the night sky
I saw a star of the first magnitude shining in the star-filled sky
Shining with a sharp yet warm light
Surrounded by countless stars
The first-magnitude star is actually
Far, far away from the earth
Receiving the light of long ago
I gently make a wish
