|Comidas que traen recuerdos **Cachapas con mantequilla, queso, natilla y aguacate**.  Siempre que hago cachapas recuerdo mi infancia porque en casa de mis abuelos también hacíamos cachapas, pero no íbamos al mercado a comprar la masa, sino que esto era un proceso de varios meses, y  comenzaba en el mes de mayo con la siembra del maíz que la hacía mi abuelo en su patio que era muy grande  en la época del inicio de las lluvias,  duraba la cosecha aproximadamente entre 100 y 150 días, una vez  el grano esté completo en la mazorca pero el grano debe estar aún tierno,  se procede a cosechar o recolectar, está era la parte divertida porque mi abuelo junto con todos sus nietos recolectábamos el maíz, y era súper divertido participar. Aunque las niñas lo que hacíamos era jugar y  pelearnos  las mazorca con las  barbas más  largas y espectaculares   simulando hermosas cabelleras  de muñecas. Luego pelábamos las mazorcas, aunque con tristeza porque una que otra mazorca la habíamos agarrado para muñeca. Después de peladas las mazorcas mi abuelo con su cuchillo bien amolado desgranaba las mazorcas quedando las tusas separadas del grano. Y venía otro proceso que era trabajoso pero divertido, porque tocaba moler el maíz, lo hacíamos con un molino manual de aluminio, que mi abuela celaba  como si se tratara de su marido. En casa de la abuela todo el que estaba  en capacidad para moler tenia que moler su tanda,  grandes o pequeños debíamos hacerlo, y no había manera de  escapar de esta labor. Una vez ya molido ahora si intervenían la abuela, las tías y por supuesto mi mamá. Que bonito era compartir en familia esta actividad que dejó recuerdos grabados en mi corazón.|Foods that bring back memories **Cachapas with butter, cheese, custard and avocado**. Once the grinding was done, grandmother, aunts and of course my mother would intervene. How nice it was to share this activity as a family, an activity that left memories engraved in my heart.|

|Desde hace días mi pequeño tenía antojos de comer cachapas, por lo que me dirigí al mercado de mi localidad y compre la masa para hacer las cachapas. La manera como ellos hacen la masa es que desgranan con un cuchillo la mazorca y luego la muelen con una maquina moledora eléctrica y es una manera muy rápida y  fácil,  allí mismo la muelen,  la pesan en grano y luego la muelen. Los tiempos cambian y aunque hoy día  es más fácil, no quiere decir que sea mejor, o más divertido, porque comparo y nada que ver cuando en casa de mi abuela o en casa de mis padres se hacía cachapa.  Hoy día  es diferente en casa es diferente, yo compre mi masa, la prepare en casa y las hice yo sola para complacer a mi familia,  pero sin dejar de venir a mi mente los lindos recuerdos de mi infancia en casa de la abuela todos reunidos haciendo **Cachapas**, por eso digo que **hay comidas que nos traen recuerdos** A continuación les comparto los ingredientes y el procedimiento.|For days my little one had been craving for cachapas, so I went to my local market and bought the dough to make the cachapas.
