It is Saturday late afternoon here in the US East. I hope your weekend is a good one.
Why wait until tomorrow to put this one out (as I had intended)?

Jason Goepfert at Sentiment Trader does a great job at monitoring gold market sentiment. The chart below is his release.

If you are a true market contrarian, as we are, you must carefully follow key sentiment indicators and learn to relate them to past performance. It is as simple as it may seem. It is amazingly accurate.

We have had a bad couple of weeks in the gold market. I had hope to see gold hold around 1300 and now begin a move upward to above 1400 in the fall. But sentiment was not where it is now! See the chart above.

Professional money managers are one of the best indicators. They are now SHORT GOLD in numbers that when in the past equaled (not often) have given an overage return of 13.4 % within three months.

STUDY the chart above carefully! Just last week I wrote I am about as bullish on gold and silver as I've been in at least 10 years. We will be rewarded for our patience! Just this week Ron Rosen, one of the best I've seen at analysis of the metals says (because of wave count) it is possible we can go as low as 1140! However, he too see sa spectacular move upward shortly to over 1400 and this year!

Furthermore this week's COT numbers (released Fri. About 3 p.m.) are very bullish. The Commitment of Traders report shows more Commercials going long and covering shorts, while the speculators are going short....exciting news.
